1. [NYJ - Adam Gase says Le'Veon Bell won't be traded](
Source: New York Post - Brian Costello
New York Jets head coach Adam Gase on Thursday, May 23, called a recent report 'ridiculous' that the Jets will consider trading RB Le'Veon Bell before he played a down with the team.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Not only did Gase shoot down the rumblings about Bell getting traded, he also said that he was excited to work with the superstar back. Things are a bit tumultuous with the Jets right now, but Fantasy GMs should know that Bell is going to be the centerpiece of the offense. He's going to get enough work as a runner and receiver out of the backfield to warrant a top-10 selection. Bell has a current ADP of RB6 (1.08) in 12-team PPR leagues.

2. [ATL - RB Devonta Freeman participating in OTAs](
Source: AtlantaFalcons.com - Kelsey Conway
Atlanta Falcons RB [Devonta Freeman]( (knee, groin, foot) is participating in OTAs Thursday, May 23.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Great news for Freeman and Fantasy GMs here. Freeman didn't look like himself last year battling through various injuries. This year, he's set to bounce back in a big way. Not only is he fully healthy, the team let Tevin Coleman (49ers) move on in free agency. Fantasy GMs are currently taking Freeman off the board at RB14 (2.12) in 12-team PPR leagues.

3. [NFL - Six teams interested in DT Gerald McCoy](=)
Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine
Free-agent DT Gerald McCoy (Buccaneers) has six teams -- the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints -- with some level of interest in him , according to league sources.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
McCoy will have a nice group of teams to choose from. If he wants to win a championship, then perhaps teams like the Patriots, Colts or Saints would be the most appealing for the veteran defensive tackle.

4. [SF - Nick Bosa has minor hamstring strain](=)
Source: Bay Area News Group - Cam Inman
Updating a previous report, San Francisco 49ers DE Nick Bosa (hamstring) has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and will not practice with the team over the remaining three weeks of the offseason program while receiving treatment.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
For a minor hamstring injury, Bosa is going to miss plenty of time. We should see him out there at or near full strength for training camp. Bosa has a bit of an injury history dating back to his days in college at Ohio State. We hope he can get healthy, stay healthy and make plays for the 49ers defense in 2019.

5. [LAC - LA Chargers nab Andrew Vollert](=)
Source: Chargers.com
Free-agent TE Andrew Vollert (Bengals) was claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday, May 23.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Vollert was undrafted out of Weber State in 2018. He's bounced around a bit in just a year and the Chargers are his third pro team. Vollert played basketball earlier in his college career when he was at San Jose State. He takes that basketball skill set onto the football field and was heavily involved in the Weber State offense. In crazy deep dynasty formats we'll keep an eye on him.

6. [CLE - DT Gerald McCoy set to visit Cleveland]()
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Free-agent DT Gerald McCoy (Buccaneers) is scheduled to meet with the Cleveland Browns on Friday, May 24.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Browns are quite the attraction now with all the talent they've assembled on both sides of the ball. The Browns and the Baltimore Ravens are reportedly on the short list of teams McCoy would like to sign with, while the Cincinnati Bengals are also interested. There are reports teams like the Patriots and Colts are also interested. It shouldn't be long before McCoy finds himself a new home.

7. [NO - WR Cameron Meredith still not practicing](
Source: The Times-Picayune - Josh Katzenstein
New Orleans Saints WR [Cameron Meredith]( (knee) spent most of the session at organized team activities on the field with a trainer but did not practice Thursday, May 23.'He's on the sideline, but they say probably next week he can do a little bit more. But he looks healthy. He looks good. He looks like he's coming along well,' receivers coach Curtis Johnson said.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Back in March, Meredith agreed to a $2.1 million pay cut. He appeared in six games with the Saints last year but didn't do much, only getting targeted 10 times. This knee problem has been plaguing Meredith for quite some time. He has the talent, and the opportunity in this high-powered Saints offense, to have a bounce-back season in 2019. We might also see him not make the 53-man roster. It's setting up to be a boom-or-bust type of year for Meredith as he wants to get his career back on track.

8. [DEN - Noah Fant inks rookie deal](=)
Source: 9News.com - Mike Klis
Denver Broncos first-round TE Noah Fant (Iowa) signed a four-year contract that includes a fifth-year team option Thursday, May 23. Exact financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed, but the signing bonus is worth a reported $7.17 million.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Fant could be one of the top rookie tight ends this year. He's going to be in a Rich Scangarello offense that has roots in the Shanahan/Kubiak offenses of Broncos past. Fant is going to be catching passes from a rejuvenated Joe Flacco...and quarterback known for targeting tight ends early and often. Look at the rookie as a sneaky TE2 with upside in 2019.

Source: The Times-Picayune - Josh Katzenstein
Free-agent RBs [Fozzy Whittaker](, [Rob Kelley]( and [Javorius Allen]( worked out for the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, May 23.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Saints are just updating their emergency list here. They have veteran Latavius Murray as the primary backup to Alvin Kamara this year. Behind Murray, Dwayne Washington and undrafted rookie Devine Ozigbo will compete to establish a pecking order.

10. [JAX - Joshua Allen puts pen to paper]()
Source: Jaguars.com - John Oehser
Jacksonville Jaguars first-round DE/LB Joshua Allen (Kentucky) signed a four-year contract that includes a fifth-year team option Thursday, May 23. Financial terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Allen knows how to get after the quarterback. He's got the bend-and-burst ability to get around the corner and get into a QB's kitchen. Allen does a good job of running through the sack and understands how to quickly diagnose plays and blocking schemes. He is strong enough to set the edge and fast enough to be used in coverage against tight ends if called upon. Allen has all the makings of a star in the Jaguars defense.

11. [DAL - Mike Weber resumes practicing](=)
Source: DallasCowboys.com - Nick Eatman
Dallas Cowboys RB Mike Weber (knee) returned to practice Wednesday, May 22, after hurting his knee at rookie minicamp earlier this month, taking part in both individual and team drills this week.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Weber was a seventh-round pick out of Ohio State in the 2019 NFL draft. The Cowboys are going to see if Weber can earn a spot on the depth chart behind fellow Buckeye Ezekiel Elliott. Weber is your classic banger at 5'11" 211 pounds. He's a determined runner with little nuance to his game. Weber is going to hard charge to and through the line but has a hard time creating his own space with moves. He can be used as a relief-valve receiver out of the backfield but needs to improve his pass-protection ability.

12. [TB - Trip delaying DT Ndamukong Suh signing]()
Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud
Free-agent DT Ndamukong Suh's pending signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers is being delayed by Suh's previously planned trip to France.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
It will be officially official soon enough. Suh joins the Bucs to replace DT Gerald McCoy who the team let go on Monday. He played well last year for the Rams down the stretch, and Suh should be able to make quite a few plays in the Todd Bowles defense.

13. [JAX - QB Josh Allen dealing with knee contusion](
Source: NFL.com - Herbie Teope
Jacksonville Jaguars LB [Josh Allen]( was held out of a minicamp practice Thursday, May 23, to work on the side with the training and medical staff as he deals with a knee contusion.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The Jaguars got an exciting young pass rusher when they added Allen in the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. His bend and burst ability around the edge and nose for the quarterback should make him a player to reckon with early and often. It sounds like this knee contusion is no big deal with Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone classifying Allen's injury as 'nothing major.'

14. [NYJ - Quinnen Williams slowed by injury](
Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper
New York Jets DT Quinnen Williams sat out OTA drills Thursday, May 23 as he is deals with a calf injury.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Williams was one of the best, if not the best, players in the 2019 NFL draft. The Jets used the No. 3 overall pick on the big defensive tackle and he should be quite disruptive for their defense inside. The injury is not believed to be anything major, and he was doing light work on the side during practice.

15. [CIN - WR Tyler Boyd seeking big pay day](
Source: The Athletic - Paul Dehner Jr.
Cincinnati Bengals WR [Tyler Boyd]( is seeking $10 million per season in his next contract.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Boyd, a second-round pick out of PITT in the 2016 NFL draft, is in the final year of his rookie contract. He had a breakout season in 2018, finishing with 76 catches for 1,028 yards and seven receiving touchdowns in 14 games. The Bengals also have superstar A.J. Green in the final year of his contract. It will be interesting to see how all this shakes out and if they want to (or can?) keep both receivers happy.

16. [NYG - RB Paul Perkins healthy](=)
Source: New York Post - Paul Schwartz
New York Giants RB [Paul Perkins]( (pectoral) said he's back to full health after missing last season with a pectoral injury. He impressed the coaching staff with his work in the first two days of organized team activities.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Perkins is most certainly in a make-or-break season in 2019. In the two seasons he has played, the 2016 fifth-round pick has averaged only 3.6 yards per carry. That's got to improve if he wants to win a spot on the depth chart behind Saquon Barkley. Perkins will be competing with guys like Rod Smith and Wayne Gallman for that role.

17. [MIA - DT Adolphus Washington signs with Dolphins]()
Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter
Free-agent DT Adolphus Washington (Bengals) signed a one-year deal with the Miami Dolphins Thursday, May 23. Financial terms weren't disclosed.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Washington was a third-round pick of the Buffalo Bills in the 2016 NFL draft. He's bounced around the league since that time and is not a lock for the Dolphins final roster.

18. [MIN - WR Jordan Taylor getting first-team reps](
Source: St. Paul Pioneer Press - Chris Tomasson
Minnesota Vikings WR [Jordan Taylor]( has been working with the first team in OTAs ahead of WR [Laquon Treadwell](. Taylor is occupying the place of WR [Stefon Diggs](, who is not participating.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Taylor has flashed a little bit when he was with the Broncos, but he was also hurt quite a bit. We appreciate him in super deep dynasty formats because of his size/speed combination. Taylor is getting a fresh start with the Vikings this year and must be impressing if he's getting first-team work.
