[CAR - TE Greg Olsen expected to start Week 6]() Source: NFL Network - Tiffany Blackmon Carolina Panthers TE [Greg Olsen]( (foot) is expected to play in Week 6 against the Washington Redskins, and the plan is for him to be in the starting lineup, a source said Saturday, Oct. 13. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Olsen's foot injury is going to require surgery after the season but he's back now and ready as he'll ever be this season. The tight end position is brutal this year for Fantasy GMs, but a clearly less-than-100-percent Olsen is a TE2 in Week 6. [CIN - WR John Ross unlikely to play?](=) Source: ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell Cincinnati Bengals WR [John Ross]( (groin) is not expected to play this week despite being listed as questionable, in the opinion of ESPN.com's Katherine Terrell. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bengals are used to Ross missing time. The 2017 first-round pick has missed more games than he's played in over the last two years. A.J. [SF - TE George Kittle questionable for Week 6]() Source: 49ers.com San Francisco 49ers TE [George Kittle]( (knee) was listed as a limited participant for the third straight day Saturday, Oct. 13, and he is listed as questionable for the Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday, Oct. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kittle is not 100 percent but reporters around the team feel that he's going to play on Monday night against the Packers. [SF - WR Marquise Goodwin ready for Monday]() Source: 49ers.com San Francisco 49ers WR [Marquise Goodwin]( (hamstring, quadriceps) practiced in full for a third straight day Saturday, Oct. 13 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday, Oct. 15. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It looks like Goodwin is going to be back in action for the 49ers on Monday night. Fantasy GMs have better options out there. Goodwin has been limited by these injuries even when he does suit up. We can't trust him as anything more than a 'what the heck' flex in Week 6. [SF - RB Matt Breida will be game-time decision](=) Source: The Athletic - Matt Barrows San Francisco 49ers RB [Matt Breida]( (ankle) was limited in practice Saturday, Oct. 13, and will be a game-time decision for the Week 6 game against the Green Bay Packers on Monday, Oct. 15. If he is unable to play, a practice squad back will be elevated. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The 49ers have two running backs on their practice squad currently, Matt Dayes and Jeff Wilson. If Breida can't play then the 49ers turn to Alfred Morris as their starter. If that's the case, Morris is a RB2 or flex option for Fantasy GMs in Week 6. [BUF - QB Nathan Peterman remains No. 2 for now]() Source: WBEN NewsRadio 930AM Buffalo Bills QB [Nathan Peterman]( will remain as the primary backup to QB [Josh Allen]( for now despite the signing of veteran QB [Derek Anderson](, who has only been with the team a couple of days. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Peterman is the primary backup for now. Anderson is the seasoned veteran and could be trusted as the main backup to Allen in the near future. The Packers did not hold a practice Saturday, so his practice participation is an estimation. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Browns needed to do something with their injury-depleted WR corps. Perriman, a first-round pick for the Ravens in 2015, never performed up to his potential due to injuries and inconsistencies. That being said, Kupp makes for a WR2 with upside against a Broncos secondary/defense that leaves a lot to be desired. Even with snow in the forecast, the Rams should have no problem moving the ball against a disappointing Broncos defense. He's a WR2 with upside in Week 6. [NYG - WR Odell Beckham Jr. fined]( Source: New York Daily News - Pat Leonard The New York Giants and head coach Pat Shurmur recently fined WR [Odell Beckham Jr](. for controversial comments made during an ESPN interview where he questioned QB [Eli Manning]('s ability and his teammates' heart, according to a league source. Shurmur also had Beckham apologize to the club. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Clearly Beckham is frustrated with his quarterback..and you could see that on Thursday night as Manning struggled to get him the ball on anything but short passes. We'll see if these two can work it out and produce at the expected level. The Giants have a long week to prepare for the Falcons in Week 7. [MIA - QB Ryan Tannehill questionable for Week 6](=) Source: NFL.com - Herbie Teope Miami Dolphins QB [Ryan Tannehill]( (shoulder) is listed as questionable for Week 6's game against the Chicago Bears due to a right shoulder injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bad news for the Dolphins here if Brock Osweiler is thrust into the starting lineup against a ferocious defense like the Bears. Fantasy GMs should monitor this situation because this matchup is tough already and without Tannehill it would be a downgrade for all the Dolphins skill position players. [PIT - QB Ben Roethlisberger bothered by elbow]() Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Darin Gantt Pittsburgh Steelers QB [Ben Roethlisberger]( (elbow) has been bothered by an elbow injury since the opener and won't throw at all during the team's upcoming bye week, according to offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Is this elbow injury the reason for some of Roethlisberger's inconsistencies? He said earlier in the week that it wasn't a big deal but clearly if they're giving him a week off of throwing then it's a concern to the team. Roethlisberger has commented on how he's got to work through pain in his throwing motion and that may be why he looks great sometimes then awful the next. [JAX - Jacksonville hosts RB Thomas Rawls]( Source: The Athletic - Daniel Popper Free-agent RB [Thomas Rawls]( (Bengals) took part in a tryout for the Jacksonville Jaguars on Friday, Oct. 12. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Jaguars are just updating their emergency list here. They added Jamaal Charles and David Williams about a week ago. Jacksonville is looking for running back help because Leonard Fournette (hamstring) is banged up and Corey Grant (foot) is out for the year. T.J. [CAR - OLB Thomas Davis activated]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Charean Williams Carolina Panthers LB Thomas Davis was activated from the exempt list on Friday, Oct. 12. To create a spot on the 53-man roster, LB Jared Norris (toe) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Getting Davis back should boost the Panthers defense. He was close to retiring this offseason but decided to come back. Davis may not be the same player he used to be but he's a tough leader with a nose for the ball.
