1. [MIN - RB Dalvin Cook says "Good chance" to play Thursday](
Source: Minneapolis Star Tribune - Andrew Krammer
Minnesota Vikings RB [Dalvin Cook]( (hamstring) said Tuesday, Sept. 25, his injured hamstring 'feels great at this point' and expects to play Thursday, Sept. 27, against the Los Angeles Rams. 'Yeah, there's a good chance,' Cook said. He was however, limited in practice Tuesday.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This was expected last week after Cook missed the game against the Bills. The Rams defense is banged up but they present a great challenge for Cook and the Vikings offense. After three weeks, the Rams rush defense ranks 9th in the league allowing only an average of 96.7 yards per game. Check his Wednesday status before making a lineup decision.

2. [GB - Green Bay signing CB Bashaud Breeland]()
Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo
Free-agent CB Bashaud Breeland (Redskins) was signed to an undisclosed deal by the Green Bay Packers Tuesday, Sept. 25.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Breeland has been looking for the right landing spot for months. He was signed by the Panthers in the spring but a failed physical designation (due to a foot injury suffered on vacation) caused his deal to be voided. Breeland gives the Packers much-needed veteran presence in the secondary.

3. [LAR - CB Aqib Talib will have surgery](=)
Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport
Los Angeles Rams CB Aqib Talib (ankle) will undergo surgery on his injured ankle Thursday, Sept. 25.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
High ankle sprains are tricky to deal with and recover from. The team decided that surgery was the option to get Talib back on the field quicker. The timetable for his return will be announced following the surgery.

4. [NE - QB Tom Brady struggling outside numbers](
Source: NFL Network - Mike Giardi
New England Patriots QB [Tom Brady]( was 1-for-9 for 12 yards targeting wide receivers outside the numbers during Weeks 2 and 3.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We'll see if Brady can improve on these numbers...especially when Josh Gordon gets on the field. Gordon was inactive for Week 3 against the Lions but he should be out there against the Dolphins in Week 4. Julian Edelman is eligible to return from his four-game suspension in Week 5. Reinforcements are on the way for the Patriots passing attack.

5. [NFL - QB Matt Moore declines workouts]()
Source: TitanInsider.com - Terry McCormick
Free-agent QB [Matt Moore]( (Dolphins) has chosen not to work out for the Tennessee Titans or San Francisco 49ers.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Moore would be an upgrade for the Titans and 49ers as a veteran backup. Perhaps he doesn't like the fit with either team. There have been rumblings that Moore's arm is shot and that's why he didn't get the starting job last year in Miami when Ryan Tannehill went down with a season-ending injury.

6. [DAL - Dallas makes moves at defensive tackle](
Source: The Athletic - Calvin Watkins
Free-agent DT Caraun Reid (Chargers) signed Tuesday, Sept. 25, with the Dallas Cowboys. In a corresponding move, DT Datone Jones (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Reid was picked up by the Cowboys with about 10 days to go in August. He didn't make final cuts with the Cowboys and found himself back on the street. Now Reid is back, just to be a reserve player on the defensive line.

7. [MIN - Vikings concerned about DE Everson Griffen]()
Source: NFL Network - Tom Pelissero
Minnesota Vikings DE Everson Griffen and his agent were a sent a letter by the team Thursday, Sept. 20, stating he wasn't allowed back with the squad until he underwent a mental-health evaluation. He is expected to miss the Week 4 game.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This issue sounds bigger than football and hopefully Griffen gets the help he needs. Vikings player development director Les Pico told local police that Griffen had not been himself for a few weeks.

8. [DET - ILB Brandon Spikes works out for Lions](
Source: NFL Network - Michael Silver
Free-agent LB Brandon Spikes (Bills) worked out for the Detroit Lions on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Spikes has been out of football for a year and he hasn't played a full 16-game season since 2014. He did play for Matt Patricia's defense when he was with the Patriots, so the Lions new head coach might be checking to see what Spikes has left in the tank.

9. [PIT - Coach not discussing Le'Veon Bell situation](=)
Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler
Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le'Veon Bell remains away from the team, and head coach Mike Tomlin refused to discuss the situation Tuesday, Sept. 25. 'I'm not talking Le'Veon -- I'm just not,' Tomlin said at his weekly news conference. 'There's nothing new to add.'
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
The last we heard about Bell was that the Jets may have interest in trading for him. If the Steelers are taking calls on Bell, one has to wonder just how much they could get in return. Sure, Bell is a superstar but any patient team can wait until next offseason to get him on the open market.

10. [DAL - Jerry Jones hopeful for OLB Sean Lee](
Source: 105.3 The Fan - Mike Fisher
Dallas Cowboys LB Sean Lee (hamstring) is expected to miss time after suffering a hamstring injury for the second straight game in Week 3, but team owner Jerry Jones is hopeful his absence will be minimal. 'I hope it will be a short time, but I do think he will miss some play time,' Jones told Dallas radio station 105.3 The Fan on Tuesday, Sept. 25.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Reports around Dallas speculate that Lee is going to miss 2-4 weeks. He's been dealing with a hamstring injury for a couple of weeks already.

11. [CIN - Cincinnati signs DT Adolphus Washington]()
Source: ProFootballTalk.com
Cincinnati Bengals DT Adolphus Washington (Cowboys) was signed off the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad Tuesday, Sept. 25, and added to the Bengals' 53-man roster, per a league source.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
This is a depth move for the Bengals. Washington was a third-round pick (Bills) in the 2016 NFL draft and has failed to impress with both the Bills and the Cowboys.
