[NO - QB Teddy Bridgewater restructures](#30) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 1. [JAX - TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins ready to play](=) Source: FirstCoastNews.com - Mike Kaye Jacksonville Jaguars TE [Austin Seferian-Jenkins]( (core) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Seferian-Jenkins going off of the injury report is very reassuring and restores his status as a top streaming tight end this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [NE - Questionable tag for RB Sony Michel]() Source: Patriots.com New England Patriots RB Sony Michel (knee) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 7, and is listed as questionable for Week 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Even if Michel plays, he's unlikely to have a big workload or play an important role in the offense after missing most of training camp and all of the preseason. It should be a Rex Burkhead/James White show in the Patriots backfield against the Texans. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [HOU - WR Will Fuller iffy for Week 1](=) Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson Houston Texans WR [Will Fuller]( (hamstring) has been limited all week with a strained hamstring he sustained during the preseason and will be a game-time decision for Week 1 against the New England Patriots. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Fuller has a high ceiling against the Patriots, but he also could be limited or re-injure his hamstring in the game. He should probably be on your bench even though he's a top candidate to score a long touchdown this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [OAK - RB Marshawn Lynch limited again](=) Source: Raiders.com Oakland Raiders RB [Marshawn Lynch]( (groin) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lynch has been limited for two straight days. As it was, the matchup wasn't looking great against the Rams Monday night. If he doesn't get a full practice in tomorrow, he should probably be on your bench. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [LAC - DE Joey Bosa to miss at least Week 1](=) Source: Chargers.com Los Angeles Chargers DE Joey Bosa (foot) has been ruled out for Week 1 and is considered week-to-week, according to head coach Anthony Lynn. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Bosa is a huge part of the Chargers defense, and his absence will make Patrick Mahomes job a lot easier on Sunday. Uchenna Nwosu should get a lot of snaps as a pass rusher with Bosa out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [CLE - WR Josh Gordon ready to play]() Source: ClevelandBrowns.com Cleveland Browns WR [Josh Gordon]( (hamstring) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gordon may still split snaps with Antonio Callaway, but this news is what you were looking for if you wanted a reason to start Gordon this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [ARI - No RB David Johnson deal expected this weekend](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Arizona Cardinals RB [David Johnson]( has had contract extension talks with the Cardinals, but the two sides are not expected to reach an agreement before Week 1, according to sources. Johnson could sign an extension at some point during the season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Johnson could seek more security by getting signed during the season, but he would likely get less than he would if the market sets his price. He is handling his contract situation differently than LeVeon Bell even though he is only getting paid a fraction of Bell's franchise tag salary. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [ATL - S Keanu Neal suffers torn ACL]() Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Atlanta Falcons S Keanu Neal (knee) has been diagnosed with a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is a big blow for the Falcons, who lose a tonesetter in the secondary and force in run defense. Neal was a top 2-3 safety in most rankings and will make a lot of fantasy players go to the waiver wire. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [SF - TE Vance McDonald a no-go for Week 1](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jeremy Fowler Pittsburgh TE [Vance McDonald]( (foot) has been ruled out for Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] McDonald might still be more than a week away from returning after missing all of the preseason. The Steelers have no healthy tight ends, which could mean more targets for Juju Smith-Schuster and James Washington. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [PHI - WR Alshon Jeffery a few weeks out]() Source: SI.com - Jenny Vrentas Philadelphia Eagles WR [Alshon Jeffery]( (shoulder) acknowledged he's still a few weeks out in his return from rotator cuff surgery. He said he has a few more doctor visits, and some days his shoulder feels good and some it doesn't. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Jeffery might not be back until Carson Wentz is back. If he is dropped this week out of impatience, do your best to make a spot for him. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [IND - Skai Moore might be in starting lineup]() Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen Indianapolis Colts LB Skai Moore might be the team's starting MIKE linebacker in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals if it is determined LB Anthony Walker (groin) isn't ready after missing the entire slate of preseason games due to injury. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Moore was an undrafted rookie. He has good hands and is great in coverage, but might have some problems in run defense and otherwise get tested against the Bengals defense. Obviously, starting Moore is not ideal for new defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [IND - S Malik Hooker might play with restrictions]() Source: 1070 The Fan - Kevin Bowen Indianapolis Colts FS Malik Hooker (knee) is expected to play in Week 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but head coach Frank Reich said Friday, Sept. 7 that the defensive back will be monitored, or could have a snap count. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hooker is the linchpin of the secondary and the Colts will sorely miss him if he's off of the field at all against Andy Dalton, Tyler Eifert, John Ross, and AJ Green. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [SEA - Seattle's Week 1 injury report]() Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta Seattle Seahawks OG D.J. Fluker (hamstring) and LB K.J. Wright (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and have been ruled out for Week 1. CB Dontae Johnson (groin) missed practice and is listed as questionable. DE Dion Jordan (knee) was limited during practice but is not on the injury report. OG J.R. Sweezy (ankle), S Tedric Thompson (rib), CB Neiko Thorpe (wrist), OT Germain Ifedi (ankle) and DT Jarran Reed (knee) fully participated in practice and are not on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] All-time inspirational story Shaquem Griffin will get the start for Wright, and he could have some IDP value. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [SEA - WR Doug {NAME} not on injury report]() Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta Seattle Seahawks WR [Doug {NAME}]( (knee) fully participated in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and is not on the injury report for Week 1. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] {NAME}'s knee isn't giving him any problems in a great sign for his value at least early in the season. He's still in a very tough matchup against Chris Harris this week, so don't panic if he has a small stat line. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [ARI - Arizona works out WR Corey Coleman]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates Free-agent WR [Corey Coleman]( (Bills) worked out for the Arizona Cardinals Friday, Sept. 7, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Coleman could get signed after veteran contract become non-guaranteed after Week 1. The Cardinals could have Coleman push JJ Nelson for the deep ball specialist role. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [GB - Week 1 injury report for Packers](=) Source: Packers.com Green Bay Packers S Josh Jones (ankle) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and has been ruled out. LB Oren Burks (shoulder) and LB James Crawford (hamstring) were limited during practice and are listed as questionable. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Packers linebackers will be light for this game against the Bears, which could mean good things for Tarik Cohen as a receiver and Trey Burton as the only healthy receiving tight end. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [ARI - Week 1 injury report for Arizona]() Source: AZCardinals.com Arizona Cardinals DE Markus Golden (knee) did not practice Friday, Sept. 7 and he is listed as out for Week 1 against the Washington Redskins. TE [Jermaine Gresham]( (Achilles'), RB T.J. Logan (ankle), DT Robert Nkemdiche (foot) and DT Olsen Pierre (toe) were limited participants and are considered questionable. OL Korey Cunningham (thumb) and DT Corey Peters (knee) practiced in full and were removed from the report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Golden isn't ready yet after tearing an ACL last year. Chandler Jones will provide pressure on one side, but the Cardinals might have trouble creating disruption on the other side against a good Washington offensive line. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [OAK - Oakland's Friday practice report](=) Source: Raiders.com Oakland Raiders RB [DeAndre Washington]( (knee) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 7. OT Kelechi Osemele (back) and DT Brian Price (hamstring) were limited during practice, while LB Tahir Whitehead (ankle) and CB Nick Nelson (hamstring) fully participated in practice. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If Osemele is less than 100%, that's not going to be good for the Raiders offense as they face the Brockers-Suh-Donald defensive line for the first time. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [CIN - TE Tyler Eifert removed from injury report](=) Source: Bengals.com - Geoff Hobson Cincinnati Bengals TE [Tyler Eifert]( (back) was able to practice in full Friday, Sept. 7 and he has been removed from the injury report ahead of the Week 1 game with the Indianapolis Colts. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] If you're going to start Eifert, you won't have more reason to than this week. He is as healthy as he'll be all season and facing a ragtag group of Colts linebackers. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [NYJ - Limited practice for WR Jermaine Kearse]() Source: NewYorkJets.com New York Jets WR [Jermaine Kearse]( (abdomen) was limited during practice Friday, Sept. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kearse was originally expected to be out this week, but he has a small chance to play. If he's out Quincy Enunwa becomes a better play and Terrelle Pryor will get a better chance to acquit himself after he came into camp still hurting from a second ankle injury. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [TB - Tampa Bay's Week 1 injury report](=) Source: Buccaneers.com Tampa Bay Buccaneers DT Vita Vea (calf) did not practice all week and has been ruled out for Week 1 versus the New Orleans Saints. CBs Brent Grimes (groin) and De'Vante Harris (hamstring) did not practice Friday. Sept. 7, and are listed as doubtful. OT Donovan Smith (knee) was a full participant in practice Friday and is listed as questionable. OL Evan Smith (hip) and CB M.J. Stewart (foot) also participated fully in practice Friday and were removed from the injury report. DE Vinny Curry (personal) did not practice Friday but also no longer appears on the injury report. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Grimes being out could make the Saints passing game even more potent and allow Ted Ginn or rookie Tre'Quan Smith to get behind the secondary for a big score. Smith could be a game-time decision and will be needed against Cam Jordan and the Saints pass rush. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 22. [DAL - Dallas' injury report for Week 1]( Source: The Dallas Morning News - Jon Machota Dallas Cowboys C Travis Frederick (illness), DT Datone Jones (knee) and S Xavier Woods (hamstring) did not participate in practice Friday, Sept. 7, and have been ruled out for Week 1. CB Chido Awuzie (back) and SS Kavon Frazier (shoulder) fully participated in practice but are listed as questionable. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Cowboys will have a hole at center and in the secondary at free safety, although the Panthers have some injury issues of their own on the offensive line. Torrey Smith might be able to get a better shot at a deep target with Woods out. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 23. [KC - S Eric Berry unlikely for Week 1](=) Source: ESPN.com - Adam Teicher Kansas City Chiefs S Eric Berry (heel) 'probably won't' play in Week 1 versus the Los Angeles Chargers and will be listed as doubtful on the injury report, according to head coach Andy Reid. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Berry is the one legit player in the Chiefs secondary. Philip Rivers is a top five quarterback play this week, and both Mike and Tyrell Williams could be excellent flex plays. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 24. [NO - RB Boston Scott back in New Orleans]( Source: The Advocate - Joel A. Erickson Free-agent RB Boston Scott (Saints) was added to the New Orleans Saints' practice squad Friday, Sept. 7. QB J.T. Barrett was released from the practice squad to make room for Scott. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Scott could still have a future with the team, but he wasn't considered essential enough to protect with a 53 man roster spot, and no other team made room for him on their roster while he was exposed. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 25. [IND - RB Marlon Mack practices Friday](=) Source: IndySportsCentral.com - Mike Chappell Indianapolis Colts RB [Marlon Mack]( (hamstring) participated in practice Friday, Sept. 7. Mack did not practice Wednesday, Sept. 5, before getting in a limited session Thursday, Sept. 6. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Mack might be able to go against Cincinnati, but the possibility of limited work, limited effectiveness or re-injury makes him a dicey flex play in a rough matchup. The Colts will also likely use more of rookie Jordan Wilkins than usual with Mack coming back from a long layoff. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 26. [CAR - Daryl Williams questionable]() Source: Rock Hill Herald - Joe Person Updating a previous report, Carolina Panthers OT Daryl Williams (knee) is questionable for Week 1 against the Dallas Cowboys. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Just that Williams is questionable is a win for the Panthers after he suffered what was feared to be a serious knee injury in training camp. The Panthers won't rush him back, but if Williams can't play, they will be without both starting tackles against Dallas. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 27. [BAL - OLB Terrell Suggs not practicing]( Source: WNST.net - Luke Jones Baltimore Ravens LB Terrell Suggs (undisclosed) is not practicing Friday, Sept. 7. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This was likely just a veteran day off, which was the team's practice last year with Suggs. He has a great IDP matchup against Buffalo this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 28. [DAL - Parker Ehinger placed on IR](=) Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Dallas Cowboys OG Parker Ehinger (knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Friday, Sept. 7. Ehinger will be sidelined at least eight weeks before becoming eligible to be designated for return. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Cowboys acquired Ehinger as extra depth for their interior line, but it doesn't appear he'll be able to help them any time soon. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 29. [MIA - WR DeVante Parker dons glove for practice]() Source: The Athletic - Chris Perkins Miami Dolphins WR [DeVante Parker]( (finger) participated in practice Friday, Sept. 7, wearing a glove on his right hand, which has a broken finger. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Parker is unlikely to play, and even if he does, he hasn't been creating any momentum this summer. He might not be an essential hold if Albert Wilson plays well vs. Tennessee. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 30. [NO - QB Teddy Bridgewater restructures]( Source: ESPN.com - Field Yates New Orleans Saints QB [Teddy Bridgewater]( restructured his deal Friday, Sept. 7, to create $2.71 million in salary cap space. He converted more than $4 million of his base salary into a signing bonus and added two voidable years to his deal. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The voidable years don't create extra potential for Bridgewater to stay with the team, but they do spread out his cap hit.
