[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's all going to depend on how the story unfolds in the case against LeSean McCoy. Although nothing is official yet, it's starting to look more and more like there's a real case against McCoy and he could be in serious trouble. McCoy's ranking has moved significantly at Footballguys as has Ivory's. It's clearly a worrisome situation at this point for all involved. [NYG - Chad Wheeler may have chance at RT]( Source: The Bergen Record - Art Stapleton New York Giants OT Chad Wheeler may have a chance to win the starting right tackle job this season if OT Ereck Flowers is not able to handle the position. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ereck Flowers has been close to a disaster, though he did have some solid games last year. He also hasn't been quiet about his concerns over his job, but blew off some spring work anyway. If Wheeler is even competent, he'll get a shot. Fantasy GMs should watch this closely, as the right side of the line is a concern and will impact an offense which looks poised to be very dynamic. [CLE - Cleveland had interest in Sam Beal]( Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot New York Giants CB Sam Beal was believed to be a target for the Cleveland Browns during the supplemental draft. It is not known which round the Browns placed a bid on him, but it probably was the third round, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Giants were clearly feeling more pressure for this move than the Browns. Beal is likely to be brought along a little slowly, but for the most part he should be a solid player in a year or two. [BAL - Two tight ends will need to earn spots]() Source: The Baltimore Sun - Edward Lee Baltimore Ravens TEs [Nick Boyle]( and [Maxx Williams]( are familiar with offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg's scheme but will need to be more productive on the field if they want to make the 53-man roster. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Boyle is better at blocking than receiving while Williams has been lackluster overall. The saving grace is the fact that it can be tough for rookie tight ends to catch on to an NFL system, so either one might stick based on that. We'd lean towards Boyle as the survivor given his blocking ability, but neither one is a guy you should draft at this point. [NYJ - RB Isaiah Crowell unlikely an every-down back]() Source: New York Post - Brian Costello New York Jets RB [Isaiah Crowell]( probably will not be an every-down back for the Jets this season even though he believes he can handle the role, in the opinion of the New York Post's Brian Costello. RBs [Bilal Powell]( and [Elijah McGuire]( likely will be on the field for passing downs. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] He might be able to handle it, but Powell has been an able contributor and the team really likes McGuire. That makes this backfield quite the mishmosh, and nobody is going to have solid value for some time. Crowell is tracking as the player with the best ADP, but it's only as 34th overall back, while Powell trails as the 51st back. McGuire is third at an ADP of 69th back off the board. He might grab the third down role but it's far too early to bet on it. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TEN - RB Derrick Henry should lead backfield](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans RB [Derrick Henry]( is expected to serve as the lead running back in 2018. He will split time with RB [Dion Lewis](, but Henry has been working to improve his receiving and pass protection in order to stay on the field more. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With an ADP of 17th running back off the board, Fantasy GMs in early drafts seem less sure, and we don't blame them. The staff has implied they will vary his use quite a bit and unless Lewis has lost a step, Henry is likely to lose some third down touches to the free agent back. We do like what new offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur brings to the table in terms of spreading the defense out to create more lanes for his backs, but we are not sure Henry will benefit as much as he might have before Lewis showed up. [TB - Justin Watson has good chance to make team]() Source: Buccaneers.com - Scott Smith Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Justin Watson likely is a player that the Buccaneers would like to keep on the 53-man roster even though he would have a small role on offense during his rookie season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] There's not a ton of reason to draft or acquire a guy who might "like to keep on the 53-man roster," especially when they intend for his role to be small. And consider that Jameis Winston won't even be there to start the season. Watson is worth keeping an eye on, but not worth a roster spot.
