1. [NO - WR Michael Thomas added muscle](
Source: The New Orleans Advocate - Nick Underhill
New Orleans Saints WR [Michael Thomas]( said he changed his diet and added muscle this offseason without changing his playing weight.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Thomas saw his receiving yards-per-game go up slightly from 2016 (75.8) to 2017 (77.8), but his touchdowns dipped from nine to five. He has been a top-10 fantasy wide receiver every year he's been in the NFL, and Thomas is getting drafted at WR5 (2.04) in 12-team PPR leagues right now.

2. [NE - WR Malcolm Mitchell uncertain for camp?]()
Source: Boston Herald - Stephen Hewitt
New England Patriots WR [Malcolm Mitchell]( (knee) said 'we'll see' when asked if he will be ready for the start of training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
That's not the phrase you want to use if you're Mitchell...or one of his dynasty owners. Mitchell's pro career has been set back by this knee injury as he missed all of the 2017 season and has missed all the offseason work for the Patriots in 2018. With Julian Edelman suspended the first four games of the year, Mitchell could be in the mix if ever healthy and able to compete for one of the top four spots on the depth chart.

3. [ARI - DE Benson Mayowa could start](
Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban
Arizona Cardinals DE Benson Mayowa could be one of the starting defensive ends in Week 1 if DE Markus Golden (knee) is not ready to play, in the opinion of AZCardinals.com's Darren Urban.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Golden is coming back from a torn ACL and Mayowa has much-needed experience on the defensive line. Released from the Cowboys in March, Mayowa was picked up by the Cardinals in April. He had 5.5 sacks in 2016 on 356 snaps, but he managed only 1.0 sack on 383 snaps in 2017. We'll see if Mayowa could produce more with a larger role.

4. [ARI - D.J. Humphries should be ready for Week 1](
Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban
Arizona Cardinals OT D.J. Humphries (knee) made good progress in his recovery this offseason and appears to be on track to play in Week 1.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A first-round pick in 2015, Humphries only made it through five games in 2017. He worked just a bit on individual drills during OTAs but he was not cleared for team activity. We'll see him eased back in when the Cardinals begin training camp.

5. [NYG - CB B.W. Webb sees time with starters](
Source: NJ.com - Matt Lombardo
New York Giants CB B.W. Webb received some work as a nickel back with the first-team defense during offseason workouts.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Webb was signed in free agency back in March after signing a futures deal with the Browns in January (then being released in mid-March). He was originally thought to be competing for a depth role in the secondary with more time coming on special teams. If he performs well as the nickel back, the Giants may decide to give him more of an opportunity.

6. [NYG - CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie could return](
Source: NJ.com - Matt Lombardo
Free-agent CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (Giants) could re-sign with the Giants this offseason, in the opinion of NJ.com's Matt Lombardo.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We'll see how the depth chart shakes out for the Giants in training camp. Rodgers-Cromartie likely would be the No. 3 cornerback for the Giants if he returned. He was released by the Giants in March, and Rodgers-Cromartie told ESPN's Josina Anderson he is in "no rush" to sign.

7. [TEN - Jack Conklin camp PUP candidate](=)
Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans OT Jack Conklin (knee) will be a candidate for the Physically Unable to Perform list at the start of training camp and his status for the start of the regular season is uncertain.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Conklin had ACL surgery back in January and his availability for the start of the 2018 regular season is up in the air. We'll see if he can get back to participating near the end of training camp and the preseason.

8. [HOU - Chris Thompson looking to build strength](=)
Source: Houston Chronicle - Aaron Wilson
Houston Texans WR [Chris Thompson]( said he has been working on trying to get stronger this offseason.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Thompson was undrafted out of Florida in 2017, and he hauled in five catches for 84 yards as a rookie. His best skill set is that of a return man, and he's expected to compete with rookie WR Keke Coutee for the returner job during training camp.

9. [CLE - Antonio Callaway may be returner](=)
Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak
Cleveland Browns WR Antonio Callaway is the leading candidate for the punt and kick returner jobs entering training camp, in the opinion of The Chronicle-Telegram's Scott Petrak.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Dane Brugler, from NFLDraftScout.com, has described Callaway as being 'quick as a hiccup' and that's a great description for the rookie's skill set. Callaway is quick and can make big plays with little space as a receiver or return man. A cousin of Ravens WR John Brown, Callaway has the ability to be a dangerous weapon as a pro...so long as he stays healthy (slender build at 5'10" 200 pounds) and stays out of trouble (suspended all of 2017 for the Gators).

10. [CLE - Matt Dayes unlikely to make roster](=)
Source: The Chronicle-Telegram - Scott Petrak
Cleveland Browns RB Matt Dayes likely will not make the 53-man roster this season unless there is an injury at the position during training camp.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
A seventh-round pick out of NC State last year, Dayes flashed a bit during training camp last year but he averaged a poor 2.6 yards per carry during the 2017 regular season. Too small to be a featured back (5'9" 205 pounds), Dayes needs to prove he should stick around as a change-of-pace back for the Browns. They're a bit stacked at the top of the depth chart with both Carlos Hyde and rookie Nick Chubb competing to be the featured back in 2018.

11. [CLE - Coach high on DE Myles Garrett]()
Source: The Cleveland Plain Dealer - Mary Kay Cabot
Cleveland Browns DE Myles Garrett can be one of the best pass rushers in the NFL in 2018 if he can stay healthy, according to defensive line coach Clyde Simmons.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
In other news, water is wet. The no.1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft has a bit of Julius Peppers to his game, and it's up to the coaches (like Simmons) to bring that greatness out of Garrett. In 11 games as a rookie, Garrett notched seven sacks and wants to play even more snaps per game in 2018.

12. [NFL - TE Coby Fleener still recovering from concussion]()
Source: The Athletic
Free-agent TE [Coby Fleener]( (concussion) said he is still experiencing some concussion symptoms, although they have not had a major impact on his everyday life.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Earlier this year, Fleener was doing some work with the Saints in camp (light work) where he didn't suffer any setbacks. He hasn't cleared the league's concussion protocol to this point. His agent has heard from multiple teams interested in signing him if he's able to resume his playing career.

13. [CFL - Edmonton interested in QB Christian Hackenberg]()
Source: The Canadian Press
Free-agent QB Christian Hackenberg (Raiders) has been added to a negotiation list by the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League, according to a league source. CFL teams can have up to 45 players on their negotiation list, giving them exclusive negotiating rights, and the players can be added or removed from the list at any time.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Hackenberg, a second-round pick in 2016, did not see the field for the Jets in two years. He didn't last very long (around a month) with the Raiders in 2018 and now may have to go to Canada to get on the football field. We doubt he does much in the CFL and his chances of returning to the NFL and doing anything of note is slim to none.

14. [DET - Deontez Alexander finding a rhythm](
Source: The Detroit News - Justin Rogers
Detroit Lions WR Deontez Alexander has appeared more comfortable now that he has some practices under his belt, according to Justin Rogers or the Detroit News.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
We're interested in seeing what the Division III (Franklin) prospect can do for the Lions in training camp...in super super deep dynasty leagues of course. Alexander has 4.3 speed while measuring in at 6'2" and 196 pounds. He scored 18 touchdowns over a 10-game stretch during his time in college with the Grizzlies.

15. [DET - Kerryon Johnson returning kicks](
Source: The Detroit News - Justin Rogers
Detroit Lions RB Kerryon Johnson spent time returning kickoffs during spring practices.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Johnson may not have to return kicks that far into his rookie season. The rookie from Auburn may finally be the answer the Lions have been looking for at the starting running back position.

16. [TEN - Deontay Burnett popping in practice](
Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans WR Deontay Burnett has 'flashed' during spring practices, according to Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Keep an eye on the undrafted USC rookie wide receiver in training camp and the preseason. Burnett is a slippery receiver who does a good job of picking up yards after the catch. He'll 'stab and stash' quickly when a pass is coming in, and Burnett is working for a spot on the Titans depth chart behind starters Rishard Matthews and Corey Davis.

17. [TEN - Jordan Veasy proving his worth](
Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt
Tennessee Titans WR Jordan Veasy has proven to be a 'savvy route runner' during spring practices, according to Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com.
[ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ]
Watch Veasy in super super deep dynasty leagues. Veasy was picked up as a UDFA out of Cal and has great measurables at 6'3" 225 pounds.
