[WAS - RB Rob Kelley officially placed on IR]( Source: Redskins.com Washington Redskins RB [Rob Kelley]( (ankle, knee) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Kelley's entire 2017 season seemed to be set back by injury. Without him in the lineup, we'll see rookie Samaje Perine take on a larger role as a battering ram between the tackles. No Kelley means we could see Chris Thompson used more as well. [CAR - WR Curtis Samuel out for season](=) Source: NFL Network - Mike Garafolo Carolina Panthers WR [Curtis Samuel]( (ankle) will be shut down for the remainder of the season, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is consistent with other reports. An MRI confirmed ligament damage in his ankle, and the rookie is done for 2017. Samuel is a dynamic player who can contribute as a big play receiver because of his run-after-the-catch ability. We're holding in dynasty leagues. [PHI - More touches for RB Jay Ajayi?]() Source: NJ.com - Matt Lombardo Philadelphia Eagles RB [Jay Ajayi]( is expected to receive a bigger workload going forward. Offensive coordinator Fran Reich believes that, with two weeks to study the playbook, Ajayi is prepared for anything and everything. 'He's able to handle everything that we give him at this point,' Reich said. 'When I look at our game plan for this week, I look at and there's probably not a play on there that I wouldn't feel comfortable putting his number on.' [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Ajayi is just getting up to speed in the Eagles offense. He was able to contribute against the Broncos in Week 9 and with a bye week in Week 10, Ajayi was likely able to learn more of the playbook. Even though LeGarrette Blount and Corey Clement will get snaps too, it looks like Ajayi could take over as the lead back for the Eagles. [TB - QB Jameis Winston won't be shut down]() Source: Tampa Bay Times - Rick Stroud Updating previous reports, Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB [Jameis Winston]( (shoulder) is expected to return this season, regardless of the team's record. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Bucs are being cautious with Winston's shoulder. He tried to play with this injury but struggled and didn't look like the QB we expected him to be in 2017. There's at least another week of Ryan Fitzpatrick at the helm for Tampa, and it sounds like there could be more time missed by Winston after that. Fantasy owners don't need to hold onto Winston if you're in need of bench space. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [NO - Jonathan Williams headed to New Orleans]( Source: NFL.com - Ian Rapoport The New Orleans Saints signed RB [Jonathan Williams]( from the Denver Broncos' practice squad and added him to the active roster Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Broncos were paying Williams around $30,000 per week to stay on their practice squad, but there was no room for him (at this time) on their active roster. The Saints have a strong rushing attack and fantasy owners should see Williams as a great lottery ticket player. If something happens to Mark Ingram or Alvin Kamara, Williams could step into a very fantasy relevant role and thrive. Prosise might return this season](=) Source: The Seattle Times - Bob Condotta Updating a previous report, Seattle Seahawks RB [C.J. Prosise]( (ankle) could return from the Reserve/Injured list later this season, according to head coach Pete Carroll, despite being placed on IR Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Seahawks need any help they can get at the RB position. We're not encouraged about Prosise even if he does get back on the field for the Seahawks. His return would have to be during the postseason, however. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. SF - C.J. Beathard thriving of late Source: USA TODAY Fantasy Sports San Francisco 49ers QB [C.J. Beathard]( is sixth in the NFL among quarterbacks over the last three weeks with 749 passing yards. In that same span he is fifth with 71 rushing yards and has added two rushing touchdowns. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The 49ers may turn to Jimmy Garoppolo eventually, but for now Beathard has been showing signs that he can be a decent starter or quality backup. The team has a bye this week, then they play against the Seahawks in Week 12. That may be the 49ers debut for Garoppolo. ATL - Garrett Grayson back with Falcons Source: NFL Free-agent QB Garrett Grayson (Falcons) was re-signed to the Atlanta Falcons' practice squad Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] A third-round pick of the Saints in 2015, Grayson is merely a developmental prospect. NO - RB Daniel Lasco placed on IR Source: NFL New Orleans Saints RB [Daniel Lasco]( (back) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Lasco's back injury is not seen as career threatening. [ATL - Atlanta signs Terrence Magee]( Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure Cleveland Browns RB [Terrence Magee]( was signed off the practice squad by the Atlanta Falcons Tuesday, Nov. 14. LB Jermaine Grace was waived in a corresponding move. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Falcons lost 2017 fifth-round pick RB Brian Hill off their practice squad on Tuesday as he was signed to the active squad of the Bengals. Magee has good instincts and burst as a runner, but he's nowhere near the dynasty prospect we believe Hill to be. [NYG - Several roster moves for Giants](=) Source: Giants.com New York Giants WR Kalif Raymond was signed to the active roster from the practice squad Tuesday, Nov .14. In addition, free-agents LB Akeem Ayers (Colts) and OG John Greco (Saints) were signed. In corresponding moves, DE Devin Taylor and WR Ed Eagan were waived and LB Keenan Robinson (quadriceps) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Raymond is a super quick receiver who can contribute as a return man. [SEA - CB Richard Sherman also goes to IR]( Source: ESPN.com - Brady Henderson Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman (Achilles') was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Achilles' injuries aren't as devastating as they used to be, and Sherman should be ready for action sometime in the 2018 preseason. Sherman will be age 30 next year and entering the final year of his contract with a $13.2 million cap number. [CIN - RB Brian Hill signed by Bengals]() Source: Bengals.com Atlanta Falcons RB [Brian Hill]( was signed off the practice squad by the Cincinnati Bengals Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Hill was an interesting player we've been monitoring in super deep dynasty leagues. A fifth-round pick out of Wyoming in 2017, Hill runs with a blend of confidence, effort and lateral agility. He's a good all-purpose back who can contribute as a receiver out of the backfield. With Jeremy Hill (ankle) on Injured Reserve, the Bengals needed depth at the position behind Joe Mixon and Gio Bernard. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The team needed RB help with C.J. Prosise (ankle) going to Injured Reserve. Davis was good in college at South Carolina years ago, but as a pro he hasn't enjoyed any success (54 carries, 108 rushing yards). [WAS - Washington works out several players](=) Source: 106.7 The Fan - Chris Russell Free-agents RB [Kapri Bibbs]( (49ers), WR Keyarris Garrett (Panthers), WR Francis Owusu (Dolphins), RB [Denard Robinson]( (Jaguars) and RB Jahad Thomas (Jets) recently worked out for the Washington Redskins. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Even though they plucked RB Byron Marshall off the Eagles practice squad on Tuesday, the team clearly is interested in working out more backs. [ARI - QB Drew Stanton practices](=) Source: AZCardinals.com - Darren Urban Arizona Cardinals QB [Drew Stanton]( (knee) participated in practice Tuesay, Nov. 14, according to head coach Bruce Arians, although it's unclear how much he was able to do. QB [Blaine Gabbert]( did receive some first-team repetitions. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gabbert or Stanton is like the choice between airline food and hospital food. Both will get the job done, but neither one gets you real excited. Fantasy owners have better options out there, even in start-2QB leagues or QB-flex formats. [NO - QB Drew Brees wants to stay in Big Easy]( Source: ProFootballTalk.com - Josh Alper New Orleans Saints QB [Drew Brees]( has no intention of talking to the team about his expiring contract during the season, but he reiterated his desire to finish his career in New Orleans during a recent appearance on XTRA 1360 AM. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Saints are on the winning track this year and are arguably the best team in the NFC. Had things fallen apart in 2017, we could've seen Brees moving on to another opportunity. With the Saints pushing for a deep playoff run, we see them keeping Brees in 2018 and beyond. [JAX - WR Dede Westbrook set to make debut](=) Source: FirstCoastNews.com - Mike Kaye Jacksonville Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook will be ready to come back from the Reserve/Injured list this week, according to head coach Doug Marrone. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Westbrook is an explosive player who can do a lot with a small number of targets. With Allen Hurns (ankle) banged up, the Jaguars need more depth at the position. Marqise Lee now moves up as the top target while Hurns is out, and Westbrook will compete with Keelan Cole for targets behind him. [WAS - RB Byron Marshall plucked from Philadelphia](=) Source: The Washington Post - Master Tesfatsion The Washington Redskins signed RB [Byron Marshall]( off of the Philadelphia Eagles' practice squad and added him to the active roster Tuesday, Nov. 14. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Marshall was picked up by the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon in 2016. He appeared in three games for the Eagles last year and found his way back to the team's practice squad in 2017. Washington had worked out free agent backs like Ronnie Hillman and Daryl Richardson due to the injury to starter Rob Kelley. Griffin is in the team's plans to see his first NFL action this season, but head coach Dirk Koetter said the team wouldn't force it. The team isn't going to make a playoff run this year, so perhaps they'd turn to Griffin just to see what he can do.
