[CIN - TE Tyler Eifert to miss several weeks](=) Source: ESPN - Adam Schefter Cincinnati Bengals TE [Tyler Eifert](=) (back) is expected to miss several weeks because of his back injury but will not need surgery, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Eifert's back cost him a couple of games last year and it's acting up again. Tyler Kroft is the lead tight end with Eifert down for several weeks. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 2. [IND - QB Andrew Luck could practice this week]( Source: Colts.com Indianapolis Colts QB [Andrew Luck](=) (shoulder) has a chance to practice this week if he is cleared by team doctors, according to head coach Chuck Pagano. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] He could return to practice this week, but Luck has already been declared out for the Week 4 game against the Seahawks. If he doesn't suffer a setback, Luck could be on the field at some time around Week 6 or so. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 3. [CIN - RB Joe Mixon receives majority of snaps]( Source: ESPN.com - Katherine Terrell Cincinnati Bengals RB [Joe Mixon](=) received 34 offensive snaps in the team's Week 3 game. RB [Jeremy Hill](=) received 14 snaps, while RB [Giovani Bernard](=) received 13 snaps. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] With Bill Lazor taking over as the offensive coordinator we felt Mixon could emerge as the primary back. In that role, the rookie RB could perform like a RB2/flex for fantasy owners. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 4. [LAC - RB Melvin Gordon should be fine]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Los Angeles Chargers RB [Melvin Gordon](=) (knee) has a minor bone bruise and a sore knee, but he should be good to go for Week 4. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Gordon couldn't play his normal snap count in Week 3 due to this injury. The Chargers will monitor his status as the week of practice goes on. Gordon's Week 4 status against the Eagles is up in the air right now. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 5. [NYG - RB Orleans Darkwa does not have serious injury](=) Source: ESPN.com - Jordan Raanan New York Giants RB [Orleans Darkwa](=)'s (back) back injury is not serious, and he has a chance to participate in practice this week, according to a source. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Good news for Darkwa, a player who has been banged up quite a bit during his pro career. Too bad the Giants aren't running the football with success. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 6. [TEN - WR Corey Davis has a chance to play](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans WR [Corey Davis](=) (hamstring) has not been ruled out for the team's Week 4 game at this point, according to head coach Mike Mularkey. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The rookie missed the Week 3 game against the Seahawks and his status for this week is unknown. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 7. [TEN - RB Derrick Henry will be fine](=) Source: TitansOnline.com - Jim Wyatt Tennessee Titans RB [Derrick Henry](=) (thigh) will be able to play in Week 4 even though he suffered a thigh contusion in Week 3, according to head coach Mike Mularkey. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Henry was bruised up against the Seahawks on Sunday but he'll be out there in Week 4. He'll continue to serve as a backup to Demarco Murray. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 8. [PHI - RB Darren Sproles placed on IR]( Source: CSNPhilly.com - Geoff Mosher Philadelphia Eagles RB [Darren Sproles](=) (knee, arm) was placed on the Reserve/Injured list Monday, Sept. 25. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] His season is done and we're hoping his career is not done. Without Sproles, the Eagles will move forward with Wendall Smallwood in his pass-catching role. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 9. [GB - RB Ty Montgomery has wrist injury]() Source: Packers.com Green Bay Packers RB [Ty Montgomery](=) (wrist) was a limited practice participant Monday, Sept. 25. The Packers did not actually practice; this practice participation designation is an estimation. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a short week for the Packers as they play the Bears at Lambeau on Thursday Night Football. Keep an eye on Montgomery's practice status during this short week. We could see rookie Jamaal Williams mixed in more if Montgomery is limited or misses time because of this injury. Right now, we'd guess that Montgomery is going to play in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 10. [GB - WR Randall Cobb has limited practice]() Source: Packers.com Green Bay Packers WR [Randall Cobb](=) (chest) was limited in practice Monday, Sept. 25. The Packers did not actually practice; this practice participation designation is an estimation. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Cobb missed the Week 3 game for the Packers which led to more opportunity for Geronimo Allison. It's a short week for the Packers as they play against the Bears on Thursday Night Football, and Cobb's status is up in the air. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 11. [TB - Lavonte Davis week-to-week]() Source: ESPN.com - Jenna Laine Updating a previous report, Tampa Bay Buccaneers LB Lavonte David (ankle) is considered week-to-week with a medial ankle sprain as opposed to a high-ankle sprain, which was originally reported. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] He's out a month according to earlier reports. That's about the timetable for most high ankle sprains. The team will sorely miss his presence on defense while David is out [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 12. [NYJ - No serious injury for RB Matt Forte]() Source: SNY - Ralph Vacchiano New York Jets RB [Matt Forte](=)'s (toe) X-rays were negative on his injured toe, according to head coach Todd Bowles. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Forte got some limited work against the Dolphins on Sunday, and this is good news on his toe but it doesn't mean he'll be out there as a full participant in practice. In fact, we think he's limited this week leading up to the team's Week 4 game against the Jaguars. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 13. [WAS - RB Rob Kelley also day-to-day]( Source: Redskins.com Washington Redskins RB [Rob Kelley](=) (ribs) is considered day-to-day and is expected to be limited in practice this week, according to head coach Jay Gruden. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Washington's backfield is a little banged up right now with Kelley and Samaje Perine (hand). Good thing they've got Chris Thompson to rack up the big yards from the backfield. Thompson is their change-of-pace back and Kelley will go back to being their lead ball-carrier if healthy. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 14. [WAS - TE Jordan Reed day-to-day]( Source: Redskins.com Washington Redskins TE [Jordan Reed](=) (ribs, chest) is considered day-to-day and is expected to be limited in practice this week, according to head coach Jay Gruden. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] This is going to complicate things for fantasy owners. Reed plays on Monday night against the Chiefs in Week 4. If you choose to start him, there may not be clarity about his playing status on Sunday morning. Monitor him during the week of practice and make sure to have a backup plan (Vernon Davis?) if Reed can't play in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 15. [MIN - QB Sam Bradford day-to-day]() Source: Vikings.com Minnesota Vikings QB [Sam Bradford](=) (knee) is back at the team facility and is considered day-to-day, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Vikings are hopeful he can return to the lineup but they have to be over the moon with Case Keenum's performance in Week 3. Filling in for an injured Bradford, Keenum torched the Buccaneers defense for 369 yards passing and three touchdowns. They have an NFC North matchup against the Lions in Week 4. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 16. [ATL - WR Julio Jones should be fine]() Source: ESPN.com - Vaughn McClure Atlanta Falcons WR [Julio Jones](=) (back) should be good to go in Week 4 despite suffering a back injury in Week 3, according to head coach Dan Quinn. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] The Falcons face a Bills team at home in Week 4. Jones might miss practice for some veteran rest on Wednesday, so make sure to monitor his status as the week goes on. He hasn't scored yet this season, but Jones is due and is a must-start WR1 as always so long as he's on the field. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 17. [CHI - RB Jordan Howard not on Week 4 injury report]( Source: Chicago Tribune - Dan Wiederer Chicago Bears RB [Jordan Howard](=) was not listed on the team's Week 4 injury report in advance of its game against the Green Bay Packers. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] Great news for the Bears and Howard here. The team has a short week as they travel to Lambeau to take on the Packers this Thursday night. Howard was dynamite in Week 3, rushing for 138 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers. The team will need him to pound the rock with the same amount of success if they have any chance of beating the Packers this week. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 18. [WAS - RB Samaje Perine dealing with bruised hand]() Source: ESPN.com - John Keim Washington Redskins RB [Samaje Perine](=) (hand) was diagnosed with a bruised left hand after he exited early in the fourth quarter of a Week 3 win over the Oakland Raiders. He is considered day-to-day for now. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's a good sign for Perine, but he's looking to return as a reserve runner for Washington once Rob Kelley (ribs) returns from his injury. The rookie from Oklahoma has 40 carries so far in 2017 but for only 116 yards. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 19. [CAR - WR Kelvin Benjamin receives good news]( Source: NFL.com - Ian Rapoport Carolina Panthers WR [Kelvin Benjamin](=) (knee) learned he did not sustain any structural damage from the injury that forced him from Week 3 after receiving the results of an MRI on his left knee Monday, Sept. 25. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] It's good news, but it doesn't put Benjamin in the clear for Week 4. We should see him limited during the week of practice leading up to Sunday's game against the Patriots. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 20. [NE - TE Dwayne Allen a non-factor]( Source: NESN.com - Zack Cox New England Patriots TE [Dwayne Allen](=) has five targets and no catches in three games this season. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] So much for Allen taking some fantasy value away from Rob Gronkowski. By our count, Allen hasn't caught a pass for the Patriots in the preseason or the regular season so far. Fantasy owners can leave Allen on the waiver wire as it would take a Gronkowski injury for him to have any relevance...and even then he might not make hay in this offense. [Back to Top](#top) --------------------------------------------------------------- [] 21. [SEA - WR Doug {NAME} injury not serious]( Source: NFL Network - Ian Rapoport Updating previous reports, Seattle Seahawks WR [Doug {NAME}](=) (groin) will have an MRI Monday, Sept. 25, but his groin injury isn't believed to be serious. [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ [ FOOTBALLGUYS VIEW ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] ] {NAME} had a huge game against the Titans in Week 3 before exiting with this injury. He was targeted 15 times and caught 10 passes for 105 yards and a touchdown. We should see him limited during the week of practice, and he may end up as a game-time decision for Seattle's Week 4 Sunday Night Football game against the Colts.
