Dear Friend, How can we let wolves be killed in these brutal ways? Donate $27 and help us protect wolves and the planet. These are the living nightmares that wolves in the Yellowstone Area must risk every day. And these are the practices that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service had the opportunity to stop as recently as last month -- but shockingly chose not to! In February, the very federal agency charged with protecting wolves made the devastating decision not to protect wolves in the Northern Rockies under the Endangered Species Act. I’m broken-hearted to have to share this news with you. Despite being protected while they are within the Yellowstone Park borders, wolves face violence and death the moment they step outside boundaries that they don’t even know exist. These inhumane hunting practices can’t continue. Help protect vulnerable wildlife and the planet and donate $27 today to help us reach our urgent $6,000 goal! This tragedy and others happen because some Northern Rockies states surrounding Yellowstone have lifted safeguards to shield gray wolves from harm. Now trophy hunters relentlessly target and gun down these wolf pack families, resorting to the most barbaric methods imaginable. From strangling wolves with neck snares to chasing them down with helicopters. And right now these atrocities are legal. But it’s no accident these wolves are being killed. It’s part of a systematic effort to cleanse our public lands of a keystone species. Their absence could pave the way for corporate interests that want to profit from drilling, mining, and logging on our public lands. Hunters and corporate interests collude to oppose protections for wolves, all to maintain their grim pursuit of "fun" and to exploit the land for it’s resources. This broken system cannot persist unchecked. Despite this terrible news, THERE IS HOPE FOR CHANGE, thanks to your compassion. Together, you and I have the power to protect wildlife like wolves and safeguard our planet from irreparable harm. We cannot allow another wolf to meet such a tragic fate. I implore you to join our cause by donating $27 today towards our urgent $6,000 goal. Your contribution will aid in our efforts to protect wildlife like Yellowstone's remaining wolves and preserve the delicate balance of our ecosystem. Their actions have contributed to the erosion of the Endangered Species Act, leaving only a scant 6,000 wolves across the lower 48 states. Wolves play a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of their habitats, regulating prey populations and fostering biodiversity. Their continued survival is essential for the well-being of our ecosystems. It is imperative that we act swiftly to halt this senseless slaughter before it's too late. Your $27 membership donation can make a tangible difference in our fight to protect wildlife and preserve our planet's biodiversity. Please, stand with us in solidarity and help us reach our goal before time runs out. Please act now, before it's too late.
