Paw prints press through BLOOD-STAINED snow. A mother wolf whimpers and collapses. Paw prints press through BLOOD-STAINED snow. A mother wolf whimpers and collapses. Surrounded by her terrified pups, she takes her final breaths. Her newly orphaned babies are now defenseless. This scene isn’t uncommon in Northern Rockies states where wolves lack comprehensive federal protections to keep them safe from VICIOUS TROPHY HUNTERS. As wolf populations plummet and extremist legislators work hard to aggressively scale back Endangered Species Act (ESA) protections for these beloved canines even farther, NOW is the time to strengthen protections for this iconic animal before more mama wolves and wolf pups are violently slaughtered. [Friend, please add your name by 11:59pm TONIGHT and help PROTECT GRAY WOLVES from brutal trophy hunters before these precious animals are completely wiped out!]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( The states bordering Yellowstone National Park allow some truly barbaric hunting practices: wolves can be run over with snowmobiles or choked to death with snares. Only around 100 gray wolves remain in Yellowstone. If wolves continue to die at this rate, that could leave just A FEW MORE YEARS BEFORE ALL THE WOLVES ARE GONE. If we don’t act to defend our precious gray wolves, this treasured historic species could soon vanish forever, Friend. [Please, will you be a voice for these vulnerable animals and help demand federal protections for gray wolves before they’re driven to EXTINCTION?]( [SIGN THE PETITION]( Thank you for taking action for innocent gray wolves, Friends of the Earth Contact Us: Friends of the Earth U.S. Washington, D.C. | Berkeley, CA 1-877-843-8687 [Contact us](foe.org/about-us/contact/) Email Preferences: [Click here to unsubscribe]( Learn more: www.foe.org/news www.foe.org/about-us www.foeaction.org Connect: [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Flickr]( © 2017, Friends of the Earth.
