We’re s fighting for the American Dreamers >> [Florida Democratic Party Logo]( Today, we commemorate the 11th anniversary of landmark legislation in our nation's history—the passage of the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. In Florida, we’ve seen firsthand the transformative power of DACA. Dreamers have enriched our classrooms, boosted our workforce, and infused our neighborhoods with diverse perspectives and talents. Their resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit embody the best of what America has to offer. [STAND WITH FL DREAMERS]( After 11 years with DACA, our work is far from over. Dreamers continue to face uncertainty and the constant threat of having their dreams shattered. Right now, Gov. DeSantis and the Florida GOP are working overtime to kill the American Dream. Florida is the epicenter of the immigration fight in the U.S., with the DeSantis-aligned GOP willing to sacrifice our economy and our communities to push through anti-immigrant legislation. [We have to double up our efforts to protect the Floridians that make this state the vibrant community it is today – join our fight for Florida’s Dreamers and all immigrants by rushing in a contribution of $25 today!]( The DeSantis-aligned Florida GOP will stop at nothing to intimidate immigrants, even going as far as chartering private planes to move migrants out of our state. We have a moral obligation to fight back, and that starts with electing pro-immigration Democrats who will put the needs of our communities before ideological extremism and culture war posturing. [ELECT PRO-IMMIGRATION DEMOCRATS]( Together, we can build a future where everyone who calls Florida home can build a future here.
