Under DeSantis, many are struggling with what Pride means in Florida [Florida Democratic Party Logo]( We’re gearing up to celebrate Pride this weekend in cities across Florida, but for many, this Pride Month is a grim reminder that here in Florida, we’re on the frontlines in the fight to defend the rights of the LGBTQ+ community. Especially for our queer and trans youth, we promise you one thing: The Florida Democratic Party will never stop fighting against this discriminatory legislation, and we will work tirelessly to work against those who want to take your rights away. [🏳️‍🌈 For Pride, help us build up a fund to support LGBTQ+ legislators running for seats across Florida so we can make the Sunshine State one where everyone is welcome and can express their true selves >>]( 🌈 However, there’s also good news: 🌈 Earlier today, we got word that a federal judge struck down DeSantis’ rule that would exclude gender-affirming health care from Medicaid coverage – citing it as unlawful and unconstitutional. We won’t stop fighting until every single individual feels safe and free in the Florida we all love. Consider chipping in to support our efforts to elect more LGBTQ+ Democrats across the state to undo DeSantis’ damage! – Florida Democratic Party 🏳️‍🌈 --------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent to: {EMAIL} [Get fewer emails]( | Or you can [unsubscribe]( The Florida Democratic Party is one of the MOST important Democratic Organizations in the country -- the work we do will affect the entire nation, the entire country is watching out work, from fighting for our personal freedoms to fighting the GOP's extremism.
