Apparently, the DeSantis Administration had a full-on conference call to discuss how to respond to me and their brilliant, savvy plan was to… have the Lieutenant Governor tell me to shut up on Twitter. I wish I were kidding. Now, if you didn’t know who Jeanette M. Nuñez was, I wouldn’t blame you. She’s the brilliant politician who wants to bus Cuban refugees to Delaware. Well, it seems I’ve gotten so far under DeSantis’ skin that she’s now taking on the role of the official ‘Tater attack dog, throwing a fit on Twitter instead of engaging us on the real danger her boss poses to our very democracy. [{NAME}, let’s get even further under the DeSantis admin’s skin. Can we raise $2,000 today to show them that the people reject their anti-democratic demagoguery?]( [DONATE TODAY!]( The DeSantis administration is especially sensitive right now because a federal appeals court blocked DeSantis’ anti-”woke” law calling it “positively dystopian” and compared it to George Orwell’s novel “1984.” We need to keep demanding accountability from our governor and his cronies. We will NOT shut up – no matter how much they bully and push us into silence – we MUST continue to spread the word that this downright fascist ideology will not stand! [So, will you help me continue calling out the administration? Chip in $50, $20, or even just $5 so we can pull back the curtain on their corruption and anti-democratic ideology!]( Yours, Nikki Fried   This message was sent to: [{EMAIL}](#) [Click here to get fewer emails.]( | [Click here to unsubscribe.]( The Florida Democratic Party is one of the MOST important Democratic Organizations in the country -- the work we do will affect the entire nation.
