As you continue to thrive online and continue to think about what to buy and sell, we are busily improving the fundamentals of the marketplace experience.
Here are some of the statistics that drive our decisions and Juneâs key announcements -Â Â
- There are over 2.5m messages sent between buyers and sellers on Flippa each month.
What are we doing?
Youâll now be able to reply to an email directly. Live from Friday, thereâs no need to login to Flippa to read and reply. Simply hit âreplyâ. We know youâve wanted this one for a while.
- Saved Search is the most common way our buyers find what they are looking for. Currently 15% of active buyers have set up search alerts, we call this âSaved Searchâ. Itâs a powerful tool that buyers use to keep track of new listings. In the last 6 months, these alerts have resulted in over 17,000 listings being âwatchedâ (thatâs like setting a âfavoriteâ) and nearly 3,000 bids and offers.
What are we doing?
Keep an eye out for the newly designed Alerts email. It looks a lot like our new Search design. Itâs a lot more intuitive.
How do you set an alert? This is the best way to be notified of new assets for sale. [Set your preferences here]( and the next time thereâs a match weâll send you an email notification.
- 75% of users hit Flippa via word of mouth. We love that you are spreading the word.
What are we doing?
Weâve launched a ârefer a friendâ program. Successfully buy or sell and weâll send you the details. Plus, we now have an affiliate program. [Apply here](. Youâll be able to earn on any successful referrals. Itâs a generous attribution period and weâll pay 15% of our success fee on any new and existing users.
