I've not done much link building over the years. A few guest posts here and there. A few HARO links

I've not done much link building over the years. A few guest posts here and there. A few HARO links here and there when it's easy but that's about it... until March of this year. I'm rapidly building up a niche site (site #9 in the income reports). It's a smaller site but growing fast. I figured it was a perfect candidate to see if skyscraper link building would help. I say it's a good candidate because it's only 13 months old (8 months when I started), has plenty of content and traffic is growing but it's still small enough where a few sound link campaigns could help it grow. How I went about it I'm not set up for link building outreach. I don't want to be. Have you ever sent out hundreds or thousands of contact emails one-by-one? Take it from me, it's not fun. I've done it. I don't want to do it again. It's a perfect task to outsource because it's highly repetitive. There are services out there that can do it much better for lower cost than me. I decided to go with the Shotgun Skyscraper Ballistic package by [Niche Website Builders]() because they've been doing this for quite some time and the suggested potential results looked good. In early March 2021, I paid for the first of five skyscraper article campaigns. How the service works For each campaign, Niche Website Builders proposed skyscraper article topics. I approved one. Topics are geared to attract links instead of being keyword focused. The main purpose is to attract links. You can link out to keyworded articles from these throughout your site to gain the SEO benefit (which is what I did with all 5 skyscrapers). They write a 4,000+ word with custom graphics. The articles are good. They do a ton of outreach attracting links from other publishers. Here's the traffic chart and skyscraper campaign timeline: Inbound links results: - Skyscraper #1: 34 links - Skyscraper #2: 11 links - Skyscraper #3: 24 links - Skyscraper #4: 23 links - Skyscraper #5: 0 links (campaign just started when I published this update). Total links: 92 inbound links (referring domains) Cost per link: $8,000 / 92 links = $87. I only include the cost for 4 months because the outreach campaign for the fifth just started. $87 per link is very good. With most other link services, you’d pay double, triple or more. Comments As you can see in the above traffic screenshot, traffic is growing. It was at the 3,500 visitors per day mark when I started the skyscraper service. As of August 14, 2021, traffic is at the 6,000 to 6,500 per day level. Let’s be conservative and say 6,100 visitors per day. That’s a 74% traffic increase. It’s impossible to conclude that the entire 74% increase in traffic is a result of [this skyscraper service](). I’ve added a lot of content. Older content continues to climb in the rankings. As you can see traffic jumped as a result of the July 2021 Google update. There are many factors at play, but my hunch is the skyscraper service definitely helped. More importantly, I believe I’ll continue getting more traffic from these 5 skyscraper campaigns and my site now attracts a ton of links without outreach. Do you have to order 5 skyscraper articles? No, you can do just one. I suspect on skyscraper campaign can work wonders for a newish site. If you order multiples, they'll do one per month. Am I doing more than 5 skyscraper articles? No, I've stopped the service at five. I suspect at some point diminishing returns set it. The site now has over 2,000 referring domains so it's attracting plenty of links naturally. The skyscraper campaigns helped grease the wheels. If I were to do more campaigns, it would be for another site where I would get a bigger bang for my buck. Is skyscraper link building safe? There's no sure thing no matter what you do but it's one of the safer options. [Google's John Mueller recently said that doing outreach for links is fine](=) as long as you don't offer money or some quid pro quo. Merely bringing attention to your content is fine. That's precisely the process for this type of link building campaigns so it's on the safer side. Not bulletproof. No guarantee. But for this site of mine at this point in time the benefits outweighed the costs and risks. Verdict: Am I happy with Niche Website Builders' Skyscraper Link Building Service? While I don't know exactly how much traffic growth is a result of their service, I can conclude the following: - The cost per link is very good coming in at $87 per link. - The links themselves are quite good. NWB provides a list of every site/URL from where the links are coming from. - The service is prompt, friendly and very efficient. - The content provided as skyscraper articles is excellent. => [Check out Niche Website Builders here]() Jon Fatstacksblog.com Affiliate disclaimer: I usually put a lot of effort into these emails.
