Hi friends, I came across a quote from Agatha Christie the other day, appropriate for our times: --------------------------------------------------------------- I like living. I have sometimes been wildly, despairingly, acutely miserable, racked with sorrow, but through it all I still know quite certainly that just to be alive is a grand thing. --------------------------------------------------------------- Along with repeating that quote like a mantra, here are a few things I’m doing to stay grounded right now: 1. I deleted Instagram from my phone. I check in on it once a day on my desktop. I was feeling myself get tense and anxious due to the content of my feed. 2. I’m donating to the following, which provide relief to those who acutely need resources right now: - [Together Rising]() - [C19 Help Squad](=) - [Black Fairy Godmother](=) (Go to her Link in Profile to donate) - My local food bank (mine accepts donations online) If you are in acute need of resources, you can sign up to request assistance at C19 Help Squad. 3. I’m re-reading The Diary of Anne Frank — she lived in hiding for two years with two families, and that’s giving me a reality check on social-distancing. 4. My EFT practitioner Marie Holden has a [free EFT video for uncertainty here](). It’s helped me immensely. (EFT is a research-backed holistic modality.) 5. I’ve started a new morning routine with a walk and [this Beginner Kundalini Yoga video](=). I feel a tremendous lift in my spirits with those simple breathing exercises. 6. The dance studio I attended while in Seattle, ExitSpace, just released some [free online classes here](. I’m enjoying adding some dance to my afternoons. --------------------------------------------------------------- ADDITIONAL SUPPORT If you’d like to use your time at home for deep healing work, I’m offering 60% off my [How To Trust Your Body Course]( this week. Through my nutrition practice, I learned I could only get my clients so far with diet and supplements. The real problem was how they silenced and ignored their intuition. It was making them sick. When I supported them connect to their bodies' wisdom, many of their "mystery" symptoms and ongoing health issues disappeared. I created the How To Trust Your Body program so you can make those changes, too. --> Use coupon CONNECT to get the course for $59 (it's usually $147). LEARN MORE: How To Trust Your Body course]( --------------------------------------------------------------- LASTLY Remember, it’s a grand thing to be alive. I’ve been too close to death to forget that. While I’m on earth, I will muster gratitude for being alive even if it feels like heavy lifting. Gratitude isn’t always easy, and real gratitude isn’t this “spiritual bypassing” you may be hearing about. Sometimes, it’s being thankful for the opportunity to learn emotional resilience. Sometimes it’s being thankful for the opportunity to see an inequitable system so we can create a more compassionate world. Sometimes, it’s appreciating the opportunity to practice generosity when it’s not easy. Gratitude is a critical mindset shift so you can be of use to your soul. And we need your soul right now.
