Shut down attacks on wolves and other animals by signing up as a Wildlife Guardian today! ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Gray Wolf Headshot © AB Photography/iStockphoto]( Defender, Right now, endangered right whales are giving birth to calves that should be the hope of survival for this species. But this is the upsetting reality: Too many of these whale calves are dying before their first birthday. They’re being run over by boats, suffering blunt trauma and agonizing propeller wounds. Just this month, a right whale calf suffered mortal head and face wounds from a vessel strike, likely leaving the calf unable to nurse. That calf is expected to die. Right whales need our help. You could make a powerful difference for these endangered whales by becoming a Wildlife Guardian – your commitment has the power to save lives! [Fight to keep whales out of harm’s way: Become a Wildlife Guardian today and be a voice for the voiceless.]( We shouldn’t continue to see right whale mothers and calves being mutilated and killed. But anti-wildlife members of Congress are trying to delay or prevent regulations to expand vital vessel slow-down zones, and the Biden administration is dragging its feet on protecting these vulnerable whales. We must pull right whales back from the brink of extinction. The most powerful action you can take right now is becoming a Wildlife Guardian. Your support helps us fight back for right whales and all wildlife on Capitol Hill and in the courts. [YES, I’LL BECOME A WILDLIFE GUARDIAN!]( Thank you for your dedication to protecting right whales and all the wildlife that need us right now. Sincerely, Mike Senatore Senior Vice President of Conservation Programs Defenders of Wildlife P.S.: So many animals depend on our help for survival. Whales, wolves, bears, birds and many more are fighting for their lives.
