Pro vs Amateur copy ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ â?

Pro vs Amateur copy ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Note: If you missed the emails this week, Randall and I have reopened the doors to our 5-week course called [Health CopyHour.]( The course offer closes Sunday night. This is the lowest price we've ever offered & we've added in a live bonus training on how Randall uses AI to write. Hey, Derek here... In my 10+ years of reviewing copy, I've noticed 1 big thing that separates beginner-level copy from pro-level copy. The good news, it's actually really easy to add this to your writing. I'm talking about proof. ^^^ Sorry if that's a let-down. But it's absolute truth. Dan Kennedy once said this about testimonials as proof: "If you find yourself trying to beat a ‘control,’ you can often win if all you do is inject, add, improve on the use of testimonials." A beginner makes a claim about what their product can do, or that an ingredient is "healthy", or that a problem exists... but 92.7894% of them never back it up with any sort of proof. See what I did there? When you immediately back up every claim you make with research, testimonials, case studies or quotes your prospect will have less reason to doubt it. And it just reads so much better & believably. And believable copy sells a whole lot more. Obviously. It's okay to write, "Grass-fed beef is healthier". But it's better to show a headline or graph from a scientific study. So how can you add proof to your copy? There are many ways but here are the most important when it comes to writing health related copy. 1. Make sure every claim, reference or study you quote is as specific as possible. For example a "44.7% reduction in cortisol" is better than "it lowered cortisol". 2. Use what the great Clayton Makepeace referred to as a logical foundation. The "if A then B then C" argument. For example, "If cortisol levels are too high, then testosterone levels are suppressed, therefore if we lower cortisol, testosterone production normalizes." 3. Walk your prospect through a case history. This could be your story or a story told by your expert about a client or patient of their's. 4. Add a strong reason why your product is different. Reasons why the problem is something no one has ever addressed and why the solution is so unique and different. We cover the various ways to add proof to your copy inside the Health CopyHour course. If you're even slightly interested in the health space... or want to learn how to use AI in copywriting... then you should check this offer out.
