I took this screenshot of my email inbox. This is how frequently a health company emails me: They send at least twice per day, often 3 times, and they've been doing it for years. Here's how often a well-known business marketer sends: As you can see he emails every day except for some weekend days. I LOVE simple heuristics like this. It doesn't have to be more complicated than, "We send an email once per day" or, "We send an email every week day". The most effective diets I've followed have been dead simple. "Eat only veggies, eggs, and meat." One of the best workout programs available today is Starting Strength. You only do 3 exercises - bench, squats, and deadlifts. And you do 5 sets of 5 reps. The simplicity is absolutely freeing and game changing in a business context. Send daily emails and you'll make more money overall. When we went from sporadic, to near daily emails in our organic beauty business, sales took off and we were able to sell it in 2021. Of course, the devil is in the details... what exactly do you send? I'll be talking a whole lot more about email copywriting and marketing this week and next. If you have any pressing questions about email copy hit reply and let me know. Talk to you tomorrow! - Derek Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( CopyHour.com, 340 S LEMON AVE, 5007, WALNUT, CA 91789

Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
