& what it means for the future of AGI ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ You might have heard the news -- OpenAI CEO Sam Altman was fired in shocking fashion by his board of directors yesterday. Why... really... did they fire him? The reason given was a "breakdown in communication." Right... What does this mean for the future of AI and AGI, if anything? Do you have any thoughts or theories? No? Me neither. But would you like to research deeper and learn more? What if someone was paying you to do that research? That sounds kinda fun to me. Now, this past week I've been talking about the course I've built with a new copywriting legend, Austin Lee. That course is called [Financial CopyHour]( and it's only open for the next 36 hours. If AI is interesting to you... then [Financial CopyHour]( should be an easy purchase... especially at the current price. Why? 3 reasons: 1. All the hot promos in the financial space right now are AI related. Investors want to learn about the best AI stocks. Financial copywriting is all about "following the sentiment". What is the market thinking / feeling / desiring in the moment? 2. If you work in the financial space you'll often be working closely with an editor and copy chief. You can pitch them on story ideas (or they'll give you ideas). You could say to them: "I'll write an email on the implications of Sam Altman's firing." Then you can go out and do a bunch of research on AI. You can make predictions and bounce ideas off your editor and copy chief to make sure it all makes sense. Austin did something very similar a couple years ago with crypto currency and the concept of "tokenization". He got paid to go down a rabbit hole and learn about crypto. 3. If you read any of the first 3 emails we sent earlier this week you'll know that the financial copywriting space is dominated by Marketwise and their new/old CEO, Porter Stansberry. Marketwise has forever been on the cutting edge of direct response copywriting... and what's more cutting edge in copy than AI? If you want to learn how the companies with the biggest email & customer lists in direct response are making use of AI in their copy... then there's no better place to look. You might be surprised to know that currently A-list-level copywriters like Austin are using AI sparingly, in select parts of the writing process. But according to Austin that's rapidly shifting. He predicts a massive "AI writing takeover" within the year. In other words, if you get "in" TODAY, you're still getting in and learning about AI early. [ Join Financial CopyHour here (deadline is Sunday night).](  Learn the secrets of multi-million dollar financial copy with Austin Lee. The Course ($1000 value): - You'll get a 5-week training course (delivered via email) teaching you how to write financial copy. - Each training will include an example piece of copy with a "template" when appropriate plus a specific task to complete each day. - Handwriting certain sections is optional but encouraged. - NEW ADDITION: AI + Crypto Controls from 2023 Vetted Swipe File ($200 value): - You'll gain access to a highly specific, vetted swipe file (this is not a random assortment of swipes. These are THE promos to study). Bonuses ($600 value): - Bonus video: Austin Lee breaking down his Tokenization (crypto) VSL that brought in 60k+ customers - Bonus customer/avatar research: Done for you document - Bonus video: Austin shows you best practices for structuring a piece before writing (one of the most difficult parts of writing a letter). Imagine receiving a single check in the mail for $112,000... Austin got one of those (on top of what he was already making). I'm 1000% not promising you that same check... but what would you pay to have Austin sit down with you and show you exactly how he wrote that winning promotion? The answer should be: a lot. Now, a course obviously isn't the same as private consulting. And we want Financial CopyHour to be accessible to EVERY copywriter that has even a fleeting interest in financial copy. You can learn all kinds of things in this course even if you don't want to become a full-fledged financial copywriter. So instead of charging a couple thousand dollars we're only going to ask $197. And we'll do you one better -- we'll break the payments into 2 monthly installments of $99. Paying a few hundred bucks to learn all of Austin's secrets seems like a fair exchange, no? [ Join Financial CopyHour here.]( Cheers! - Derek & Austin P.S. The deadline to join is this Sunday night, November 19th. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
