Shaved legs, spandex, the whole deal. I loved it. Part of the reason I loved it was the suffering. Riding bikes at a high level is extremely difficult & painful. But there's a strange joy to suffering when you know for sure it's going to make you better. The most famous American cyclist (besides Lance) is Greg LeMond. LeMond said this: "It never gets easier, you just go faster." God I love that. Have you heard a marketer say something like: "If just one client pays you $500/month, you'll be ROI positive month 2." A lot of folks scoff at math like this and think it's only a sales tactic. But I'm here to tell you... it ain't. I do this same type of math when I evaluate purchases and investments in my business. And as you grow, nothing changes except the numbers getting bigger. "It never gets easier simpler, you just go faster the numbers just get bigger." A $1K course becomes a $6K course. A $5K coaching program becomes a $25K coaching program. Again, this line of thinking isn't just a sales tactic cooked up by copywriters. It's almost always the best way to think about and justify investments you make. How quickly will this become ROI positive? How much will this be worth to me if I use just one part or learn just one thing? What's the economic upside? What's the economic downside? A lot of times you're making a bet. You won't know for sure -- so you're betting. And you're just going from $100 bets to $1000 bets. But unlike real betting... as your business knowledge and skills grow... your accuracy improves and your wins become more exponential. Hope this connection makes sense to you. - Derek Recommend Product: If you're looking for a high ROI course, [Anyone Can Get Their First Copywriting Client]( is a course that will pay for itself many times over... when you land that very first client! The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
