When I'm the client, here's who I hire ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Last year one of my student's copy really caught my eye. After some talking, I sent her a test project. It was her first project EVER and she crushed it. I sent her more work over the next two or three months and she made $10K+ from me. She now works for a big name copywriting agency after using me as a reference. Of course I'm not saying that in order to get work, you have to pay the client first. There's all sorts of room for shadiness in that equation. But let's go deeper and talk about another time I paid a consultant a whole bunch o' money. I had a band mate in college who became the marketing director for a huge company that spent millions per month on Google & FB ads. I'd heard that he'd recently started his own agency so I reached out. We talked, he showed me what he could do, and I sent him a check. Both of these interactions play perfectly into the client getting system I've been talking about. Speaking of, here's the deal: I'm going to release a short video course on how to get your first copywriting client. It's the most common question I get from copywriters after they finish CopyHour: "How do I get clients now?" I'll show you exactly how I got my first couple clients back in the day and show you the modern ways to do it now in 2023. I'll explain the exact systems and reasons how and why the 2 examples above worked. Those aren't the only 2 ways of course, there's a whole lot more I'll go in depth on as well. I thought I might call this video training course The Double Happiness Method because modern client getting demands a 2-pronged approach of Engagement & Outreach that feed off each other... But actually, I like the sound of this title better: "Anyone Can Get Their First Copywriting Client". I've seen somewhat similar titles for books and other courses out there and it describes exactly what I'm showing you in this video course. Anyone, truly, can get a client if they use this method. You don't have to spend a ton of money or build a giant audience first. You don't have to do things you don't want to do. It's a natural process and lead generation system that gets clients. I'll prove it to you inside Anyone Can Get Their First Copywriting Client. Again, I've used this 2-pronged method consciously and unconsciously for years to get clients, customers, to network and make millions in sales. I've also hired several copywriters that used these methods to approach me. And all the biggest copywriters I've made friends with or studied have used this method too. If you've been struggling to "get clients"... and if you're looking like for an easy-to-follow operating system for generating leads (and closing clients) as a freelance copywriter, this will be perfect for you. I'll have the shopping cart ready for you tomorrow. - The video course is going to be recorded live next Thursday, June 8th on a private buyers-only Zoom call. - I'll have a Q&A for those that buy this first version if you'd like to ask me something (you can send in your questions if you can't make it live). - "Anyone Can Get Their First Copywriting Client" will be inexpensive for this first launch. Keep your eyes glued on your email tomorrow. Cheers! - Derek +++++ If you'd rather not get emails about lead generation & getting clients this week and next, put yourself on the [do-not-email list by clicking here.]( You'll stay subscribed to my other emails but just won't hear more about this specific topic.
