Hey {NAME} -- Happy New Year's Eve! This will be the last email I send you in 2020. I hope you have a great/safe night: - Get a health tracking device. I learned several easy things I can do to improve my sleep (intermittent fast, take CBD, do my Wim Hof breathing). - Consistent work spaces make you more productive (maybe laptops aren't the best) - Working at home with a 2 year old in the house is... harder than almost anything. If you know a single parent, hand them a $20 bill immediately. - A professional sounding podcast setup costs less $1000. - Roam Research will make your life and writing better. - Seriously consider "breath work". I went to a Wim Hof seminar in February 2020 (right before the pandemic) and I feel like I unlocked a life cheat code. - Most of the time (not all), you're better off in life working really hard behind the scenes. Don't let anyone know that you're "trying". - "Whether you step off the board with one foot or two, you still end up in the water." - Learn about finance & basic accounting. - Your income is directly proportional to the number of "buy buttons" your business has available. - Learning a skill requires a daily commitment. Getting really good, or mastering that skill, requires daily commitment + application. - Duolingo is amazing for a daily commitment to language learning. However, because of the pandemic I haven't been able to apply my new Spanish knowledge. We'll see how it goes when I'm actually in Mexico in 2021. - Sending 5 emails a week to your list... is a very good idea. - Email marketing will rule again in 2021. - The rich are getting richer in this country. I don't know exactly where the cut off is, but if your household is making under ~$90k a year in California, on W-2's, you're not only falling behind, you're exponentially falling behind. - Successful people work fast as shit and go all in. When successful people have their email open, they're answering emails at lightening speed. Successful people aren't afraid to pitch their work and ideas and they're not afraid to ask for help. - "Influencers" and live streaming. Pay attention. - Is there anything better than a live concert? I miss live concerts. - I stopped using Instagram in 2020 and absolutely nothing about my life changed. You will not fall behind if you get off of social media. - On the other hand, I found myself really enjoying Facebook groups again. If you're going to use Facebook for business purposes, make sure you block your own personal wall. Cheers! - Derek  Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( CopyHour.com, 340 S LEMON AVE, 5007, WALNUT, CA 91789
