Over a dozen new members joined to work with us in the community. In addition, CMB was just [highlighted on the Laura Flanders]( show. Our movement is growing and so is our programing. As we gear up for a summer filled with excitement remember we need your support. The community we are in is in the early stages of being taken over without strong programs and organizing the community will not be able to fight back this trend. The CMB community house hosts our own Youth Afrikan rights of passage scouts program [Siafu Youth Corps]( a home-schooling program for youth, [AJCLLC]( The development of our clothing cooperative and our podcast both named [Renegade Culture](. We are developing a food sovereignty program that will feature a Black farmers market this spring and just launched our community assembly project to organize a campaign to stop gentrification. We will begin building our second community house this summer.
