I’ve seen this movie before, and it doesn’t end well. {NAME}, On Tuesday night, Donald Trump posted on his failing Truth Social network his endorsement in the GOP Ohio Senate primary to try and unseat Sen. Sherrod Brown: he is fully behind MAGA candidate Bernie Moreno, a former used car dealer from Cleveland. Trump proudly boasted that Moreno will “fight the corrupt Deep State that is destroying our Country.” And Moreno reciprocated and endorsed Trump’s presidential bid—a sharp break from 2016, when Moreno reportedly said that Trump was a “lunatic invading the party.”  The reason why I am writing about this is because without campaigns like ours running to win and driving up turnout in competitive counties across Ohio, Sen. Brown would be in danger of losing and the Senate will flip. If Sherrod Brown—who I know as a thoroughly good person and a genuine leader for the people of Ohio—is going to be reelected next year, we need strong, well-funded Democratic campaigns up and down the ballot.  I am running to defeat Troy Balderson, another former used car salesman whose family business has a well-documented record of defrauding Ohioans. Balderson will be an automatic rubber stamp for any and all of Trump’s darkest authoritarian impulses.  [Can you chip in $10 or more to my campaign to defeat this corrupt man and to stop the MAGA mob from unseating Sen.
