Recent polling shows that Arkansas independent voters are supporting Democratic candidates in greater numbers this year than in the past FIVE election cycles — and Chris is capturing their votes. We’re feeling the energy on the ground too as Chris continues to meet with voters in all 75 counties in his Every Last Street tour. For too many hardworking folks, our opponent Sarah Huckabee Sanders wouldn’t just be more of the same, she’d be considerably worse. The same opponent who has dodged interviews and barely spoken with Arkansans in this campaign. The same opponent we had to pressure into finally accepting our proposal for a debate. The same opponent who’s acted as if voters don’t deserve to hear from their candidates about why they’re running for office and how they’ll deliver on the most important issues people are facing. Since day one, we’ve made it our mission to reimagine what it means to campaign in a so-called “red” state. Our approach has been to reach every single Arkansan, no matter their zip code, no matter their political affiliation. Because, guess what? Our next governor will represent everyone.
