I’m supporting strong Democrats in Arkansas, but first, we need to close out our last campaign. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ [Chris Jones for Governor]( Hi there {NAME}, it’s Chris Jones. It’s been a while since we last talked, but I wanted to reach out today to reflect on what we were able to accomplish, what I’ve been up to, and what comes next. When we launched our campaign for governor of Arkansas almost two years ago, we had no idea how much this movement would grow. With voters across all 75 counties of Arkansas and grassroots donors across all 50 states, Team Jones offered folks the chance to believe in a brighter future for Arkansas. It was a vision focused on unity and inclusion — not extremist policies meant to spread division and hate like we’ve seen under our new governor in recent months, with attacks on the LGBTQ+ community, access to education, reproductive rights, and more. With all this in mind, I’ve been reflecting on how our campaign ended and the many lessons I’ve carried with me. So today, I’m excited to share a little about what I’ve been up to since then. I officially launched Vortex PAC (bonus points if you got the bumblebee reference!), an all-new grassroots movement that will build organizing power and support Democratic candidates for public office across our great state. Our first objective is to replace all four of Arkansas’ Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives. We’re ready to hit the ground running to make Vortex PAC’s mission a reality, but we took on some unexpected costs in the final months of our campaign to put up a strong fight against our opponent — so we have some debt remaining. [Can you rush a donation today to help clear our remaining campaign debt, so we can get back to working to solve the big problems facing Arkansas?]( If you've saved payment info with ActBlue Express, your donation will process automatically: [Chip in $25]( [Chip in $50]( [Chip in $100]( [Chip in $200]( [Chip in $250]( [Other]( {NAME}, I’ll tell you more about why Vortex PAC’s mission is so important right now. Arkansans are tired of feeling hopeless about the political process. They’re tired of feeling discouraged by corrupt, self-interested politicians who don’t address the real problems they’re facing (I’m looking at a certain governor). Far-right politicians in Arkansas are relying on illegal gerrymandering and voter suppression to keep themselves in power — and right now, it’s working out for them. Vortex PAC is ready to create a sustainable infrastructure for political change in Arkansas to tackle this issue head-on. We know that the best way we can fight back is by recruiting and training Democratic talent that will send these politicians packing. But before we can really get to work, we need your help to close out our last campaign. [We took on some additional costs to be able to have a fighting chance against the GOP establishment, and that means we're still in some debt right now. As we look to make progress in Arkansas with Vortex PAC, I’m counting on you to chip in and help reduce our campaign debt. Please make a donation of any amount today.]( [DONATE]( Thank you so much, [Chris Jones]( Chris Jones We believe that emails are the best way for our organization to stay in touch with supporters like you.
