We knew from the beginning that we were taking a giant leap of faith to win the Governor’s seat. And we knew it would only be possible if we could unite Arkansans who believe that our state deserves better. It’s been our message from the start, {NAME}: Arkansas deserves a leader who will unite people and allow them to reenvision the state. I’d like to take a moment to remind you why we launched this campaign as we continue to build this grassroots movement. And I wanted to reshare my campaign launch video with you as a reminder of my why for running! [Chris, his wife, and three daughters sitting on a couch]( {NAME}, my family has been in Arkansas for over seven generations. My ancestors labored the soil, allowing me to raise three daughters with my incredible wife, Dr. Jerrilyn Jones. I’m committed to doing everything I can to serve this great state of ours. Growing up in Pine Bluff, I saw my parents make sacrifices to build a better life for our family and how they cared for our neighbors, friends, and church. And I know that with faith, hope, and hard work, we have the chance to spread opportunities all over the state to improve the lives of every Arkansan. [That’s where you come in, {NAME}.
