Updated Mileage & Trip Pricing Starting July 29, 2019 the Per Minute rate and Trip Package pricing will vary depending on the time, location, and day of your rental. For example, you will be able to find a smart fortwo in New York for as low as $0.35 per minute or up to $0.45 per minute. All pricing will be clearly marked in the car2go app for each vehicle at the time you start your trip or make your reservation. If you go over your allotted time in a Trip Package using a smart fortwo, $0.41 per minute will be applied to the cost of your rental. If you go over your allotted time in a Trip Package using a Mercedes-Benz vehicle, $0.47 per minute will be applied to the cost of your rental. The mileage allotment per Trip Package will also be adjusted. The long distance fee will be increasing from $0.45/mi to $0.49/mi. This fee only applies if you go over your allotted mileage in a Trip Package or surpass 150 miles of driving when you select the Per Minute Rate.
