Take a moment to look at your current work load and life load. Does one feel completely out of balance from the other? In 10 years from now, would you like to still be living at this current pace? Let’s put it another way: In what way are you spending your time now that, if left unchanged, you would regret in a year from now? There’s a reason why these questions are so tough: They’re confrontational to our status quo. If we answer them honestly then chances are we will need to make some changes. And deep down, we rarely believe we can actually do less and still get the results we want in life. It’s the productivity equivalent of one of those "lose weight by exercising less" infomercials, right? If we want to be more present at home, we believe it has to come at the expense of our career or business. If we want to hit bigger goals at the office, we believe it has to come at the expense of our families. If that’s how you’re feeling right now, hear me when I say this: Just because you sacrifice time in one area of your life doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice results, too. When you have the skill of focus, it’s like giving yourself a multiplier in the most important areas of your life. But by now, you probably expect me to say that. I’ve been talking about our [latest cohort of Focus Academy]( all week long. So instead of just telling you what focus can make possible in your life…why don’t I show you? This is Mo Bunnell, and he has the exact kind of life you would expect to be insanely hard to balance. He’s the founder and CEO of Bunnell Idea Group, a business development company. He’s been married for over 25 years. He’s a dad to two teenage daughters. Entrepreneur, spouse, parent — it’s the trifecta of, "My life is nuts and I have no breathing room." But something fascinating happened after Mo went through the step-by-step process we teach in Focus Academy: Even though he started spending more time at home (and less on the road) than ever before… …his company had its best quarter in history. How did he do it? [Check out Mo’s quick case study to see the steps he took to start achieving more (in work AND life) by doing less.]( "Here I was, spending more time at home, had an incredibly successful quarter financially — my best ever…and it was a blast to look back and think of how things had been, which was good, but how much better they got when I really got laser focused on what I was trying to accomplish." The coolest part is that Mo got these results by going through the exact same process you will also get as part of Focus Academy ([enrolling now](). In Focus Academy, we not only take you even deeper into the core curriculum of the Focus Course — my team and I personally coach you through implementing it in a community setting. You don’t have to worry about finding time in your calendar to actually go through the material. We tell you what to do and when to do it. You don’t have to worry about getting stuck or falling off track. You’ll have a team and community to hold you accountable. If your goal is finding lasting balance in your personal and professional life in the new year, Focus Academy is the most effective format we’ve ever created. That’s why we’re calling this cohort Follow Through in 2022 — there will be a special emphasis on sticking to the plans you set for the coming year (and beyond). So after you watch [Mo’s case study](, stay on the page to get all the details and join us before enrollment for Academy closes. — Shawn To unsubscribe from everything, [click here](.
