Normally, this is where I would summarize what is in our newsletter and what we are doing next, but today is different. Where were you when the world stopped turning 18 years ago on September 11, 2001? I was in fifth grade and riding the bus to school. I remember walking into Mrs. Whitaker's classroom and she had the television on. We watched the news all morning until recess. I honestly don't remember doing any school work that day. What I do remember is how the country came together through sports. I won't forget when Mike Piazza launched a home run in the eighth inning against the Atlanta Braves at Shea Stadium that led to a 3-2 New York Mets win. When you read through our newsletter today, think about what you were doing that day. Were you even born yet? Were you old enough to understand what had happened? What will you do today to honor that fateful day from 18 years ago? -- Maren Angus --------------------------------------------------------------- [Follow on Twitter](#) [Friend on Facebook](#) [Forward to Friend]( Copyright © 2019, All rights reserved.
