I can't let this newsletter go out without congratulating SA's Kayla Lombardo on her wedding over the weekend. She looked absolutely stunning! Now, back to softball. Over the next couple of weeks, we are going to really zone in on recruiting. Who has the best recruiting class? Who just missed our Top 25? What about transfers, are they considered part of that class? We ranked the Top 25 recruiting classes on Sept. 3 and this week, we released six programs who just missed the cut. In addition to the freshmen recruits, we are going in-depth into the portal and ranking the top 15 transfer classes. We release a new group to analyze throughout the rest of the week. One of my favorite additions to SA has been Katie Burkhart. The one-time national champion from Arizona State has faced many obstacles in her life since retiring seven years ago and she is sharing her story with the world. Mental health is something to take seriously and if she can help just one person, then she will feel like her journey will have made some kind of difference. Part II of her story will be online Friday. . -- Maren Angus --------------------------------------------------------------- [Follow on Twitter](#) [Friend on Facebook](#) [Forward to Friend]( Copyright © 2019, All rights reserved.
