At this time, Toomey has not otherwise publicly addressed the reveal of her plan on the local news channel. First, powerlifter [Joe Sullivan hit a 385-kilogram (848-pound) raw squat]( that broke his own all-time record in the 100-kilogram division. Then, [Samantha Rice broke the all-time raw deadlift in the 90-kilogram division]( with a 275-kilogram (606.3-pound) pull. But arguably the most impressive performance of the entire weekend came from powerlifter John Haack, who became the first 100-kilogram lifter to raw bench 600 pounds or more in an official competition. His mark of 272.5 pounds (600.7 pounds) is a new all-time record, edging out the previous mark of 267.5 kilograms (589.7 pounds), which Haack set in January 2022. Not only that, but his total on the day — 1,030 kilograms between bench, squat, and deadlift —set yet another record for the 100-kilogram class.
