[Visit our website]( [AvaTrade] This Week’s Market Opportunities Tuesday, October 1st at 04:30 GMT RBA Interest Rate Decision Last week, Reserve Bank governor Philip Lowe indicated that another cut in the official interest rates will be delivered this week to try and drive unemployment down and push inflation back to the RBA’s target of 2-3%. Australia's interest rates are already at a historic low, but much of the market reaction will depend on how deep the RBA will go with its cuts. Is the RBA going to surprise traders? [Trade AUDUSD]( Wednesday, October 2nd at 14:30 GMT EIA Crude Oil Change Last week, oil prices were under pressure after rumours that Saudi Arabia had restored 75% of the capacity lost in the September 14th attack, whilst the remainder is set to be restored this week. OPEC member Iraq also indicated that the cartel would discuss further output cuts amid ongoing supply concerns. A new drop in crude inventories could boost oil prices, but much will depend on whether we will see new OPEC cuts or further capacity being restored. Trade on facts [Trade Oil]( Friday, October 4th at 12:30 GMT Non Farm Employment Change Despite deteriorating business confidence this year, so far labour market data have not suggested any trade war related slowdown. After a disappointing result for August, job creation is expected to rise to 162K from 130K in September. Yet, it is the highly watched average hourly earnings that can provide a first warning sign, as earnings are expected to drop to 3.1% from 3.2% last month. Will this month NFP confirm the resilience of the US economy? Or will start to falter?
