If you are unable to see the message below, [click here to view](. It’s PMI week, with global manufacturing under the Brexit/Trade-War looking glass. Find out more. [Visit our website]( [AvaTrade] This Week’s Market Opportunities US Manufacturing PMIs – Tuesday Sep 3 at 13:30 PM GMT US Manufacturing Under Stress With the US-China trade war entering its 60th week, preliminary data is showing a marked impact on US manufacturing. Worse, last week we learned that the White House decision-making process was in disarray, a former commerce department official saying people were scared of making decisions. Each preliminary reading of PMIs has pressured the dollar down, and Tuesday’s final number could certainly shock an already volatile dollar. Trade on the War [Trade USDJPY]( Europe PMIs – Wednesday Sep 4 at 7:15-8:30 AM GMT Inversion in Europe Recent weeks have seen the relative positions of France and Germany reversed – Germany’s export-oriented economy impacted heavily by Trump’s increasing tariffs policies and France’s traditionally protectionist approach beginning to thrive. Last year, France’s 25 bn euro stimulus (the Yellow Shirt endowment) came just in time to stave off the Trade War Blues, and France’s 0.2% Q2 GDP increase surpassed Germany’s, as did its Manufacturing PMI. The nation’s 0.6% account deficit is less than a 1/10th of Germany’s, and household income per capita has increased by 1% so far this year – double Germany’s. Wednesday’s Service and Composite PMIs will provide the wrapping to Monday’s manufacturing numbers – hopefully providing some light to fight the no-deal Brexit Blues and Trump’s Follies. Invest in the Inversion [Trade EURUSD]( US Non-Farm-Payrolls – Friday, Sep 6 at 12:30 PM GMT It’s NFP-Time… Again Unlike 2008, the next recession is unlikely to come with a bang but a whimper. The China-US trade war, Brexit and the increasing Iran-nuclear-oil standoff – each on its own could easily cause an economic implosion worldwide, and all three are causing the US Federal Reserve to become more political – less fiscal in its decisions. As a result, economic data is having an increasing effect on policy, and any sudden movements – especially in overly rated markers such as the NFP – could be critical for dollar rates.
