And with two-thirds of North American birds facing extinction, we must act now to turn things around for the birds we love. It’s a code-red emergency and for birds like the Scarlet Tanager—who has lost 14% of its total population in the past half century—there is no time to waste. But, with the support of dedicated bird lovers like you, Audubon is working tirelessly to combat climate change by championing clean energy solutions, advocating for reduced carbon emissions, helping to maintain healthy forests and supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
