Northwestern University As Northwesternâs Senior Executive Director for Neighborhood and Community Relations, Dave Davis works to maintain and improve the relationship between the University and Evanston. He encourages both students and faculty to spend time in the Evanston community. Davis said he believes the University and Evanstonâs relationship is at its strongest point in its history. Together, NU and Evanston have worked to address equity issues through several projects, including the cityâs first Guaranteed Income Program and a minority-owned business incubator. According to Davis, the officeâs goals for the future include building more intentional partnerships, increasing widespread engagement and increasing access to campus resources for Evanston residents. -and- Samuel Vilchez Santiago Samuel Vilchez Santiago is the Florida State Director at the American Business Immigration Coalition and the Interim Chair for the Orange County Democratic Party. He is originally from Venezuela, and came to the U.S. as a political asylee at an early age. Samuel's experience includes being the first Gen-Z member of the Democratic National Committee from Florida, the Human and Civil Rights Manager at ActBlue and the Florida Campaign Manager at The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, an umbrella coalition of national civil rights organizations. Samuel obtained a Bachelorâs degree from Princeton University and a Master of Public Policy at the University of Oxford.
