[View this email in your browser]( Michael’s Monday Motivation June is a month often associated with Graduations. A sense of great accomplishment and clear progress to the next level. Let us also realize that June is a beautifully powerful month for the Culture. We honor Black Music, Immigrants, Juneteenth, PRIDE and Caribbeans...all this month. Thinking about the past few days in the country, it is easy to be divided into a party and forget that we are still a people. Yesterday, I took part of another element of Heritage honoring, Baptism. My 3rd one to be exact. Once at Calvary United Methodist Church as a child, another in the Jordan River as an Adult and once more now at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Why? Because ahead of my Ordination later this month, it was important to have that personal connection to my church family as I go to the next level of ministry. Realize that it's all connected. Honor Heritage and you will graduate in life to your next levels. Reflecting on the past is elevating you for the future.
