H {NAME}, It's no secret that I'm obsessed with painting details. 🔍 I find them incredibly fun to paint, and they bring so much realism to paintings. Sometimes though, I'm drawn to subjects which don't have so many details. Like the Rose Periwinkle flower I show you how to paint in [my latest free mini class](. Although there’s not loads of detail, the bright colours and shading I’ll add to the flower will really make it pop off the paper. Which is always SUPER satisfying. And because it doesn’t have a lot of detail in it, it has the added benefit that we can paint it at a smaller size without losing realism. So it's perfect for a quick sketchbook study. Pick up your paintbrushes and [join me in the mini class now](. I hope the class inspires you to try this Rose Periwinkle as a project you can complete in a short time. If you give it a go, or you enjoy the video, please do [leave a comment]( for me to read. I love hearing from you. With love, Anna Xoxo p.s. Did you see that I recently made my full-length Sunflower tutorial available for free, for a limited time? I’ve done this in response to the distressing events in Ukraine, because I thought it might soothe you to paint their national flower. You can [find the free class here]( and please do share it with anybody you think may find comfort from painting it 🌻  This message was sent to you because you've subscribed to receive my emails.
