There I was, looking at the camera. The shy guy who couldn’t close a sale as a multi-level mark

There I was, looking at the camera. The shy guy who couldn’t close a sale as a multi-level marketer is no more. Now, there’s only me — a blogger with a mission to help others find their own success online. Also, I was on TV. :-D "Our college didn’t have a website, and it was our responsibility to create a website or blog about that college." I remember those words like they were yesterday. While my classmates were busy downloading notes from our college’s website, I was looking at something else. I was more interested in the inner-workings of that website.  I wanted to know how to host a website, design pages, and publish content. That was my instinct. As I dug into these questions, I also discovered many more, like "how to do affiliate marketing" and "how to rank on Google." Little did I know that, years later, I’ll be speaking in front of a live audience — telling them exactly how to do those things and more. So, what exactly did I learn in my time as a newbie blogger? The truth is, it’s really simple: Absorb the strategies of authority bloggers and create a much better version — just for you. It sounds simple because it is. You just need to know how to do it RIGHT and make it a sustainable, long-term strategy. You see, doing research for your blog takes a lot of work. It doesn’t matter if we’re talking about keyword research, affiliate products research, SEO, or social media. Even the process of website development involves a lot of trial and error, especially if you want perfect page designs that convert readers into paying customers. All that stuff can take weeks or months before you start seeing positive results. While you spend your time formulating and testing your "unique strategies" from scratch, your top competitors are pulling further away. They are already making thousands, if not millions, of dollars from strategies that are already proven to work. Meanwhile, you’re stuck in square one — desperately trying to draw up a blogging plan that actually works. We can’t have that, can we? You may think that having a strategy that relies on competitor research limits creativity, and you’re right to an extent. But if you do competitor research my way, I guarantee that you’ll still have your original blog identity. Remember, you and your top competitors are trying to appeal to the same people. These are users with the same content preferences, online habits, buying power, and so on. If you want to overtake your competitors and become the best in your niche, don’t "piss against the wind." Go with the flow and make measurable improvements on existing blogging strategies. That’s a surefire way for your blog to get the recognition it deserves. Speaking of existing strategies, the perfect place to start is my free step-by-step blogging guide. [Click here to check it out](. I structured it to fill you up with blogging strategies you can benefit from regardless if you’re completely new or an experienced veteran. Some topics I covered are finding a niche, generating blog topic ideas, and content promotion strategies. It’ll also show you how competitor research can be weaved into your overall blogging strategy. For example, when looking for blog post ideas, you’ll understand why inspecting your top competitor’s website is one of the best things you can do. Go — click the link above and send me a reply. I can’t wait to hear what you think. Until next time, Ankit To make sure you keep getting these emails, please add ankit@ankitsingla.com to your address book or whitelist us. Want out of the loop?
