What do you need from us, {NAME}? Last week, I flew my whole team to Vancouver for our second annual team retreat. For 3 days, this group of 10 badass, passionate and talented AF women gathered in a mansion in the mountains. We shared some delicious meals together… We made Posseified denim jackets (with custom Posse patches, obvi)... We had an epic pool/taco/margarita party… We reminisced about the greatest boy band to ever exist (Hanson – and I’ll fight anyone who disagrees 😂)... We laughed about how far technology has come and shared stories about mix tapes, pay phones and scrapbooks. We chatted about life, got to know each other on a more personal level, and created the type of connection that transforms a remote team into a fierce family 💕 And to wrap up the last evening of our retreat, we had an EPIC movie night. We watched the 1995 coming-of-age flick that sparked my lifelong interest in True Crime (and séances in a graveyard 🤣) – Now and Then. (Knock three times on the ceiling if you’ve seen it). For more BTS action and pics, check out my [Instagram](. Even though we had A LOT of fun – we did plenty of work too… The theme of this year’s retreat was slowing down to speed up. We rolled up our sleeves, took a good hard look at every single process that goes into running the Copy Posse, and took massive action to move our collective mission forward. I can’t wait to share our future plans for the Posse, but I’ll save that for another day… What I really want to focus on today is celebration and gratitude for my amazing team. I mean, sure – I already knew they were incredible. But there is something about being in each other’s energy IRL that is absolutely next level. The women who help me run the Posse are POWERFUL and together we shake shit up. Words can’t describe how grateful I am to have this brilliant, fun, and sassy Posse backing me up every single day. The Posse would not be what it is without each and every one of them. We work hard to create [the best damn marketing, copywriting, and branding content & education]( in the industry. We’re fighting to create a brand that’s radically different from anything out there. 👏 We envision a world where marketing is ethical… 👏 All voices are heard... 👏 Messaging is inspiring… 👏 Dreams are chased… 👏 And there is no shortage of fun. It’s only been 3.5 short years since the Posse was born, and we’re already seeing massive change happening in the industry… It lights us the fuck up. We’re just getting started, {NAME}... And we'd love your help shaping the future of the Copy Posse. We hope to continue to serve you, inspire you and help you use your voice to make an impact in the world for many years to come. So let us know... What do YOU need from us? How can we best serve you on your journey? Hit reply on this email and LMK. Love from me and Team Posse, Alex 🫶 P.S. Here’s to another year of breaking boundaries, redefining modern marketing, de-douchifying the Internet, and building an empathy empire. Are you ready to join us? [Click here to explore our Programs](. ABOUT: Welcome to the Copy Posse, you’re now part of the raddest, baddest crew of copywriters on the Internet over 300,000 strong. You’re here because you signed up somewhere on my website and I’m glad you did. It means you’re like us – a badass creative, coach, copywriter, or content writer with a passion for marketing and a flair for the written word and you want to channel that passion into a living doing what you love. You’re in the right place. We are on a mission to de-douchify the Internet and create a ripple effect of positive impact across the planet. We believe that the best copywriting combines timeless direct response marketing principles of the past with modern, empathetic brand storytelling (without all the hype, BS and lame tactics that fizzle fast). We are the new school of copywriters and aren’t scared to break a few rules and ruffle-up a few feathers if it means changing the face of marketing for the better. Through my social channels and email list (which you’re now a part of, yay) I share the techniques and strategies I’ve learned over the last decade to build a 7-figure brand from the ground up and how to sell products and services that actually help people, without selling out on your values.
