Age UK BBC Lifeline appeal [View this email online]( [Age UK logo]( Watch Age UK’s BBC Lifeline appeal this Sunday! We’re really excited to be featured as the BBC’s latest Lifeline appeal. Lifeline is a monthly ten minute programme broadcast on BBC highlighting the work of a charity and appealing for donations to support its activities. The appeal aims to provide an opportunity for raising money and awareness to a variety of charities. Our Lifeline appeal will focus on the devastating effect that loneliness can have on older people, and the different ways that Age UK can help, both locally and nationally. The film will feature Colin, Joan and Patricia, who tell us how Age UK’s befriending services and local activities have been a lifeline for them when they’ve needed us most. [Check out our appeal >]( When can I watch it? Our appeal will be broadcast on Sunday, 21 April on BBC One at 13:50. It will then be broadcast on Wednesday, 24 April on BBC Two and BBC Scotland at 13:00. Our appeal will be hosted by our fabulous Ambassador, Len Goodman. [Visit the BBC Lifeline homepage >]( Please watch and share our appeal with your family and friends. Your support makes such a big difference as it enables us to continue to be there for older people who have no one else to turn to. Thank you.
