Hi {NAME}! What’s one of the first things you check on your phone or laptop the moment you wake

Hi {NAME}! What’s one of the first things you check on your phone or laptop the moment you wake up? Chances are, you’d probably open at least one of these popular social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, TikTok, etc. It’s not surprising, though, since these apps are designed to keep you on their platform for as long as possible. And over the years, the types of content we consume keep evolving. These days, visual content is the trend. From short lifestyle videos, tutorials, even to viral TikTok challenges… HAHA! People get attention from all sorts of gimmicks and whatnot. Whether they realize it or not, it all stems from good copywriting. Be it on video scripts or social media posts, good copywriting is a requirement to keep the audience engaged and loyal. This is just one of the reasons why having a decent knowledge of copywriting is important whether you pursue it as a career or not. Basically, anything that is used to keep the audiences engaged from start to finish, regardless of the format – text, image, video, or sound – has some form of persuasion tactics that can be credited to copywriting. That’s why if you’re a copywriter, you are not restricted to writing only one type of copy… You even have the flexibility of choosing what copy you want to write and for whom… The best part? Businesses need good copywriters to market and sell their products and services… And there’s more business than copywriters worldwide so the chances of you getting clients is not impossible even if you were to start today. “If that’s the case, bakit wala pa rin akong client hanggang ngayon?” Well, there are a number of possible reasons why. Pero let me talk about the more common one. More often than not, it’s not that no one wants to hire you as a copywriter… It’s more likely that you’re offering your services to the wrong people. In short, may mismatch. Baka kasi ipinipilit mo ‘yung copywriting services mo pero social media management naman pala ‘yung kailangan ng prospect mo… Or maybe, you’re charging premium rates on a startup company ‘tapos dapat may upfront fee pa… Anong ibabayad nila sa’yo kung nagsisimula pa lang silang mag-run ng business? 😅 Then imagine if you do this a couple of times in a row. How would you feel? Minsan, tayo rin talaga ang gumagawa ng ikakababa ng confidence natin eh. HAHA! We take those rejections personally and get emotional about them… …instead of looking objectively and analyzing what is it we have to fix so next time we can do it properly. So {NAME}, I want you to think about the last time you got rejected by a prospect. What went wrong? Why do you think they didn’t hire you? Then, start to fix it and improve from there. :) Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
