Hi {NAME}! One of the things email copywriters are struggling with is generating ideas for every email they write. Kung about 5 emails lang ‘yan, it’s easy to come up with what each email would be about. But what if you’re tasked to write emails daily, how would you plan this out? Just by merely thinking about it, nakaka-overwhelm na agad kung paano mafi-fill ‘yung bawat araw. Many would panic and instantly be struck by writer’s block. But there’s a way for you to practically have unlimited email ideas. The only requirement is for you to pay attention to your surroundings. Be observant Pwedeng ‘yung email is about the target market’s daily routine, from waking up to going to bed… Or ‘yung simple TV commercial na napanood mo na pwedeng i-relate sa brand mo… Maybe even ‘yung struggles ng isang entirely different industry na somehow eh may resemblance to what your brand and its audience may be experiencing… These are just examples, but what I’m trying to say is… You can basically write about anything under the sun, and find a smooth way to transition it into talking about your brand or products. But then, like I always say, this depends on the context. If very technical ang approach ng emails ng brand, like… If say, nasa forex trading niche sila and their brand voice is strictly focused on imparting trading knowledge using traders’ language, Hindi uubra ang magsulat ng copy about sa isang funny scenario ‘tapos iko-connect mo sa forex trading… kahit gaano pa kaganda ang pagkakasulat. Bakit? Kasi hindi aligned sa brand voice ‘yung paggamit ng funny story. This is an exaggerated example, but I hope you get the idea. Another thing you can do to never run out of email ideas is to… Take advantage of user-generated content Use the emails your subscribers are sending you, Then, create your next email from it. S’yempre, this has to be consistent with your branding. If not, don’t bother using it. HAHA! After all, you’re writing so your email list learns from you, too. So what better way to make sure you’re giving them what they need than by exactly answering their questions, right? That’s why you can find that some of the emails I sent have quoted replies from my subscribers. :) For the third approach… What you can do to always have an email you can send is to… Repurpose old emails “Hala. Bakit naman, Darwin, edi luma na ‘yung content nun?” Not necessarily. S’yempre, ang gagamitin mo na past emails ay ‘yung may good performance metrics… And of course, use those contents that are still working to this day. Now, why am I suggesting this? It’s because not everyone who’s receiving the repurposed email has already received and read it in the past. Meaning, there are probably new subscribers who haven’t read the original email of the repurposed copy… And even if they are old subscribers who have also read their emails in the past… The repurposed email could serve as their reminder about the tips and tricks you’ve shared before.
