Hi {NAME}! Quick reminder lang for the weekend: It’s not that hindi na kaya ng utak natin mag-consume at mag-aral ulit ng bagong skill… Sometimes, nauuna lang ‘yung overwhelm because you’re faced with a complex concept. For example, learning copywriting for beginners, or studying more advanced strategies for experienced copywriters… Madalas ‘yung first thought would be, “Kaya ko bang maintindihan ‘to?” S’yempre, kaya mo. The problem lang is how you look at it. So ito ‘yung trick d’yan. Para iwas-overwhelm, don’t look at it as a whole. Make a habit of breaking a complex idea into smaller, more digestible parts. Then, start learning it piece by piece. Kunwari, you’re about to learn about how to write a sales letter. Just reading through one, you know na a lot of effort was put into writing it. But before you think about giving up without trying it out, breathe. Then, remember to learn in small pieces. Say, you start with headlines. What makes a headline attention-grabbing? How can you recreate the same if you were to write your own. Now, you move on to learning what a lead is and what its purpose is… Then the sales argument, the close, and so on. You don’t even have to rush learning one so you can move on to the next agad. Take your time as much as possible… Because if you’re learning a complex topic, for sure na everything that revolves around it is important. So make sure to start small, master the basics, and if you can, learn from the experts. S’yempre, practice, practice, practice. That’s all for now. Happy weekend! :) Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines
