Hi {NAME}! If there’s one thing I’m really proud of as a service provider, It’s that

Hi {NAME}! If there’s one thing I’m really proud of as a service provider, It’s that I make sure to overdeliver every single time. This is not required, but based on experience… Iba ‘yung sense of fulfillment on my part every time you go above and beyond what's expected of you. The best part? You get results that put a smile on your client’s face… And it usually becomes a ripple of good news after that. When you exceed your client’s expectations, you not only satisfy them, You also leave them wanting for more. They already saw how you work and what results you can give. Tingin mo ba maghahanap pa sila ng ibang copywriter once matapos na ang contract n’yo? When you overdeliver and produce results… Malaki ‘yung chance na ‘yung one-time project n’yo, pwedeng masundan ng isa pa ulit and so on. Even better if they put you on retainer, ‘di ba? And if you consistently give them results, it’s only going to be a matter of time before they become your loyal advocates. Alam nilang hindi sila mapapahiya if i-refer ka nila sa mga kakilala nilang business owners. If they do, you’ll start getting inbound leads, referrals. Think about it, {NAME}. All you did was do your job and go the extra mile… Pero ‘yung return sa’yo is potential clients knocking on your door because they heard you’re just the person they’re looking for. Ang saya nun, ‘di ba? This is your advantage especially in this industry where you have to stand out from the competition. If you always provide clients with value even if it’s not required of you… For sure, they’ll remember you and you’ll be top of mind in case they need your services again in the future. “Darwin, what can I do to start overdelivering?” Good question, {NAME}. Underpromise, but overdeliver “Teka… Hindi ba pagsisinungaling ‘yan?” Of course not. What I meant by “underpromise” is to set realistic expectations with clients… ‘Tapos you overdeliver by surpassing those expectations. For example, it would take about a week to write 20 emails. S’yempre, realistically speaking, there might be delays or unforeseen scenarios along the way. Like say, may kinailangan kang i-validate sa existing assets ng client mo and inabot ka ng isang araw to do that… Or maybe, na-realize mo na may kulang pa pala na information and you’d have to do additional research… You wouldn’t want to sacrifice the quality of your work para lang ma-meet mo ‘yung target date just because you gave your client a tight deadline. What you can do is adjust the turnaround time, adding a few more days to accommodate any unforeseen events that might happen. So if you told clients na you can finish the 20 emails in 10 days pero you know you can do it in 7 days… Submit it to the client in 7 days pa rin. Here, not only did you provide a realistic timeline, you also surprised your client in providing the required assets early. Sinong hindi matutuwa, ‘di ba? HAHA! Another way to overdeliver is to give simple yet kind gestures like allowing additional revisions to the copy… Or providing your client suggestions if you have a better strategy in mind. These may be small acts, but you have no idea how grateful your client would be for you. Lastly, and this is an indirect way to overdeliver… Pursue continuous improvement You cannot give more value if you don’t improve. Always be in pursuit of growing your skillset and enhancing your copywriting skills… So you can provide additional value as the go-to expert in your field. And if you have the means, invest in your career development so you can stay ahead of industry trends. On the part naman of providing value to my students… I overdeliver by giving them bonuses that you’d have to pay for to get access to. And if feeling ko may dapat akong i-add sa course pero hindi ko initially naisama sa sales page… Ia-add ko pa rin sa program without additional fee. :) Anyways, what about you, {NAME}? What are your thoughts on this? Are you also overdelivering whenever you’re fulfilling your service? Let me know by replying to this email. Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines
