Hi {NAME}! When it comes to learning something new, We tend to look for the best tools and resources that can help us fast-track our progress. No problem doing this naman⦠Nagkakaproblema lang if masyado na tayong nagiging obsessed sa pag-hoard ng tools and resources⦠Which more often than not eh hindi naman talaga gagamitin. Nasayang na âyung time, nasayang pa âyung efforts, âdi ba? But I do get na thereâs a sense of assurance na youâre in the right path when youâre using the tools and resources the experts are also using. So today, Iâm gonna share a few of the tools you can use to keep your writing in check. To be transparent with you, I initially planned to share this topic in the coming days pa. But since one of you requested for it, today na lang. HAHA! Now, I want you to keep in mind that what Iâll be sharing are just a few tools that could help you improve your skills. Meaning, mas marami pang tools and resources na pwede mong gamitin based on your preference. I donât want you to stop exploring alternatives that really suit your needs. Clear ba, {NAME}? Nice. Before I forget pala⦠HAHA! Lahat ng tools na ime-mention ko ay accessible for FREE. Of course, if you want to maximize their features, you can always opt to subscribe to them. But using the free version alone is enough to help you out. Wala nang magtatanong kung may bayad ah? Sinabi ko na. 😅😂 Anyways, letâs start. One of the insecurities and concerns of Filipinos who are just getting started with copywriting is that theyâre not good in English. You donât have to be and itâs not mandatory. In case youâre not aware yet, maraming Pinoy brands na rin ang nag-u-utilize ng copywriting to generate more sales to their business. Ako, personally, mas marami akong Pinoy clients. Bakit? Kasi konti lang din ang baon kong English on a given day. HAHA! Kidding aside, mas comfortable akong i-communicate âyung strategies ko using both English and Tagalog⦠And siguro mas nasanay na lang din ako na Pinoy ang client ko. Pero gets ko why English grammar is one of your concerns. Youâre aiming to attract international brands, especially those that are catering to English-speaking countries. So to help you with this, you can check out Grammarly. Think of it as your writing assistant who will not just check your grammar, but will also provide you with better suggestions. Sâyempre, itâs not enough na decent âyung grammar mo. Dapat readable din âyung copy mo. And by âreadableâ, what I mean is dapat even an elementary student can understand what you wrote. Why is this important? Because before you can reach your goal of making your readers buy from you⦠You should also remove any possible obstacle that could be blocking their way to get there. And this includes their pausing and having to think through what you just said. The moment they pause or get distracted, the higher the chance theyâd lose interest finishing your copy. Thatâs why your copy should answer any and all objections they might have before they even start thinking of it. Also, your copy should be written in a way that itâs an easy-read and without fluff. To help you with this, you can use hemingwayapp(.)com. This site also spots your grammar mistakes, But more importantly, it checks the readability level of your copy. There are also color-coded highlights with annotations that can help you improve your copy. Your goal is to make your copyâs readability level Grade 6 or below. Now, for brainstorming naman since marami pa rin dito ang may constant battle with writerâs block. A bit of a disclaimer lang before I share this tool. Iâve been vocal about not really jumping into the bandwagon and using it kasi for me, itâs still early to say how reliable it would be for copywriters. âEh bakit mo pa ishe-share kung hindi mo naman pala ginagamit?â Because I know this can be helpful to at least spark some ideas in your head. Yep. Itâs AI, particularly ChatGPT. Now, I am in now way proficient when it comes to AI prompts so Iâm not the best person to consult about it. BUT⦠You donât need to use complicated prompts naman to get AI to help you come up with ideas. Again, the reason I mentioned AI here is to help you brainstorm NOT to use it to write for you. Kasi if your aim is the latter, youâll need more elaborate prompts to generate the output you want⦠Which you CANNOT GET IF you donât have a decent knowledge copywriting. So kung gusto mong pagkakitaan ang copywriting pero AI lang ang gagamitin mo, You wonât make it long in the industry. At the end of the day, AI is still just a tool. Whether or not it would produce great results is dependent on how well you feed your data to it. So if you want to really become a good copywriter, Start with the basics and go from there. Thatâs it for today, {NAME}. Sâyempre, may alternative tools sa mga na-mention ko. Do your research na lang and make sure to take everything with a grain of salt. :) Now, I want to know⦠Are you using these tools already? Is this your first time learning about them? Or do you have better tools you can suggest we use? Share mo naman saâmin by replying to this email. Rooting for you,
