Hi {NAME}! Not sure if you noticed, but while I discuss copywriting, in general… I almost always end up talking about email copywriting. Why? Because it was where I started. Pero kahit siguro ibang copywriting format ang una kong natutunan… I’d still encourage you to start your copywriting journey by writing emails. Ayaw mo ng emails? Write social media posts, instead. And if you want it more challenging, write Facebook ads. But ultimately, if you want to make a decent living from being a copywriter… Write short-form copy Don’t get me wrong. You can earn money from writing any and all types of copy. Copywriting isn’t dubbed as a lucrative skill for nothing. Pero if you’re in the stage where you want to earn more even as a relatively new copywriter… Or kahit na experienced ka na pero you want to serve more clients to increase your income potential… Writing short-form copy is the way to go. You can use it as a training ground as you gain more copywriting knowledge. Makakapag-experiment ka with different styles, tones, messaging approach, etc. This is useful especially if you’re writing for a brand with a specific voice. What’s more, writing short-form copy is quite forgiving. Typos? Grammatical errors? Forgivable, lalo na if the approach is very personal to the audience… Like my emails. HAHA! Pero ‘wag naman palagi to the point na part na ng branding mo ‘yung typos and wrong grammar. 😅 I mean, it’s forgivable, yes, pero iba pa rin if you write clearly and properly. Also, what’s great about writing short-form copy is, if you somehow sent the wrong info… You can just as easily send a follow-up email or social media post correcting it. Another reason why I encourage relatively new copywriters to go with writing short-form copy is because it’s less overwhelming compared to long-form. Like with any new skill, it’s advisable to start small by mastering the basics before heading over to venturing into and absorbing the more complicated topics. And through writing short-form copy, you can get a good grasp of how copywriting really works — absorbing the skill by bits and pieces… Especially when it comes to persuasion. Because admit it or not, sometimes, it’s not that the person couldn’t write that they have doubts if they could become a copywriter… It’s more about they’re not entirely sure how they could write persuasive copy… So if this is also your concern, you can practice by writing short-form copy. Once you understand it on a small scale, it’ll be easier to apply to whatever form of copy you’ll write in the future. Small steps, kumbaga. After all, nasa beginning stages ka pa lang ng copywriting journey mo, ‘di ba? :) Plus, it’s easier to get “wins” from writing short-form copy. It only takes an hour or less to write a single short-form copy. And the moment you broadcast it, be it an email, social media post, or Facebook copy… You can almost immediately see how well it's received by your target audience. Remember, if you’re writing short-form copy… More often than not, you will be writing multiple emails… So there’s more chances for you to get wins after wins. And once your small wins begin to pile up, I’m pretty sure your confidence will also spike… The best part? Depending on the payment terms, you can either get paid per copy you write… Or earn commissions from the sales your copy bring in every time… Eventually, this will also lead you to being able to charge your desired fees. I can’t wait for that to happen for you, {NAME}. :) Now, can you share with me some of your insights about what we just covered? Reply ka lang sa email na ‘to. Rooting for you, Mark Darwin Balaswit P.S. If you have questions, i-reply mo lang din dito. Pero uunahan ko na ‘yung magtatanong na naman nito. HAHA! Wala po akong ibinebenta (for now) kaya wala akong maisasagot kung magkano. But if you really want to start a copywriting career without paying anything… Balikan mo lang ‘yung past emails ko and you’ll learn a thing or two about copywriting for FREE. :) Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines

Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
