Hi {NAME}! For the second to the last way to be consistent at learning and mastering copywriting, itâs always advisable to⦠Request for constructive feedback Emphasis on âconstructiveâ... Because just about anyone can give you feedback, but the ones that matter are those that come from the experts. So⦠Whenever you can, ask for feedback from the people you look up to in the field youâre in. This is also the reason why the first thing I mentioned was to join copywriting communities. Through joining these, youâll be surrounded by individuals who are at the same level or far more experienced than you. Not only will you grow your network of fellow copywriters⦠You can also take this as an opportunity to be acquainted with the more experienced copywriters in your chosen niche. More often than not, these people are also generous in sharing their insights on subjects of their expertise. This way, you can fast-track your learning because youâd basically be asking for things theyâve already done before⦠No need for you to do trial and error⦠You can head straight to implementation. Now, you can learn the same things by consuming copywriting resources⦠But why did we include requesting constructive feedback as a part of the ways to learn and master copywriting? Well, hereâs why feedback works: One, it pinpoints the areas for improvement. Remember, specificity is key. If you want to master copywriting, sâyempre youâd also want to know which aspects of your copy you need to focus on improving. It could be the structure kasi baka hindi well-put âyung thoughts mo sa copy⦠It could be about the tone of the copy, as well⦠Especially when youâre writing for the opposite gender, or if the brand has a specific voice you have to follow. This takes some getting used to, But itâs easier to refine this aspect of the copy if you know exactly na ito pala âyung kailangan mong tutukan. Next, and this is probably what I appreciate most about getting constructive feedback: Youâll have targeted progress. Sâyempre, itâs good to learn and master the must-haves in copywriting. But youâll certainly make significant progress if you know exactly which aspects of your copy need refining⦠Kasi more often than not, you donât need to change the entire thing⦠Sometimes, all you have to do is to tweak bits and pieces of the copy to get your desired output. Lastly, requesting constructive feedback encourages you to continuously improve your copywriting skills. Asking for feedback doesnât happen just once, and definitely not from one person alone. Itâs a continuous process where each feedback becomes a stepping stone towards refining your copywriting skills even further. Thatâs why itâs important to be surrounded by like-minded individuals who are in the same industry as you, preferably those who are more experienced than you. Pero sâyempre, it doesnât end with just asking for constructive feedback. Youâll only improve if you donât take any feedback personally⦠Instead, use it as your guide and implement it in your revised copy. Also, make sure to always track your progress. This includes taking note of each feedback as well as the changes you implemented based on it. Do this consistently and youâll be surprised how much you can improve from taking in suggestions from the experts and acting on their insights. To reiterate, here are the ways you can learn and master copywriting: - Join copywriting communities
- Stay ahead of the trends
- Explore more and diversify your portfolio
- Request for constructive feedback We have one last way to help you learn and master copywriting. Can you guess what it is, {NAME}? :) Rooting for you,
