Hi {NAME}! Marami na palang nag-start mag-vacation. Nagulat sila sa last email ko eh. 😅 HAHA! Sorry naman. Pero to be transparent with you… If and when you choose to become a freelancer/business owner… Wala talagang “vacation leave” in the sense that you still always have to think about what’s the next action plan to reach your goals. I’m just telling you this to set your expectations as early as now. Kasi kahit we command our time, when and where we want to work… ‘Yung behind the scenes nun most of the time is the freelancer/business owner wearing all the hats to keep the business running. But that’s fine kasi eventually, you’ll reach the point where you can scale and slowly but surely add team members to run the business with you. And it’s equally alright if you’re still not in that stage in your freelancing career, {NAME}. :) Kung wala ka pang clients or nahihirapan kang makakuha ng new clients, OK lang ‘yun. What’s not OK is you giving up after putting in your efforts. ‘Yung waiting for the right timing? It doesn’t exist, kasi what guarantee do you have that you’d know exactly when it’s the “right time”? Also, even if that were true, paano if along the way you got tired of waiting for it to happen to the point na sumuko ka na lang? Nasayang lang ‘yung oras and efforts mo, ‘di ba? So why not be proactive na lang in reaching your goals? Whatever happens, you know you gave your all so you won’t regret anything. :) Fun fact: Did you know that, on average, we spend about 6 months of our lives waiting for red lights to turn green? In other words, we wait for things to “fall into place” before we act. But what does this mean in relation to your freelance copywriting journey? ‘Yung moment na feeling mo walang nangyayari or napakabagal ng progress… ‘Yung weeks or months na wala kang client… These idle moments could just be your opportunity to take your freelance copywriting journey to the next level. 2023 is coming to a close… What are your plans for 2024, {NAME}? I hope it’s not quitting before you even get your breakthrough. It’s OK to get frustrated if you don’t get things the way you planned… It’s OK to take a little break to breathe… But don’t forget to come back stronger and face those challenges head-on. Going back to the green light-red light metaphor… Instead of doom scrolling sa social media during those red-light pauses… Use them to brainstorm your next big freelance idea or practice some quick copywriting. Imagine the breakthroughs and creative copy that could flow when the traffic lights change. You’d thank yourself for still going forward despite the odds. Just like how green signals "go" on the road… Gawin mo ‘yung idle moments mo as cue to hit the gas on your next copywriting action plan. For example, feeling mo 6 months nang walang nangyayari sa ginagawa mo… Those 6 months waiting at red lights are more than just time spent on pause… They're moments to… - Reflect on your current strategy - Create new strategy based on your reflection - Keep improving your copywriting skills Always find a way to turn those red lights into green opportunities for personal and professional growth. You can do it, {NAME}. :) Now, I want you to take a moment to reflect on your freelancing journey so far. What challenges did you encounter this year, and how did you turn them into opportunities? Baka kasi you’re just being hard on yourself pero may progress naman pala… Na masyado lang palang mataas ang standards mo, and you're not giving yourself enough credits sa efforts mo… Wait ko reply mo, {NAME}. :) Happy new week! To turning every red light into a green opportunity, Mark Darwin Balaswit Sent to: {EMAIL} [Unsubscribe]( Top Dog Copywriter, Barangay Commonwealth, 1121 Quezon City, Philippines
